I'd leave zero stars if I could. The representative I spoke to when I was setting up my move completely lied to very specific questions I asked. I told them I wanted my stuff delivered between two days, they said it should be a problem. I asked if my stuff was going to be unloaded from the pick up truck and held before being loaded on a different truck to be sent to my new address. He said my stuff would stay on the same truck until it was delivered to me. But after all my things were loaded in the truck the movers told me that it could be up to 14 days after my first available date and that my stuff was going to be transferred and held until there was a truck headed towards my new address. The representative I spoke to on the phone knowingly lied to close the deal, and I would not have booked with them if he had told me how they actually do things. Now they can't do anything about it because I should have read the estimate and not listened to what I was told. Of course I didn't even contact Movesafe Relocation, I called the number from an email I received from Red Van Lines, and Movesafe isn't a moving company, they're a broker that contracts out to actual moving companies. Basically a scam.

BE VERY WARY about using this company. The communication is HORRIBLE and they don't return phone phone calls. It seems once they have your deposit they don't care about much more.

Absolutely disgusting business practices. STAY AWAY from this company.

Im giving 3 stars only because they did stick with us through the whole process and helped get answers from the actual moving company during the move which I TRULY appreciated since it was my first time moving across country and had never delt with movers before. However they did not state they were brokers when I first talked to them and the estimate they gave was way off so we ended paying much more than expected however they did choose a decent moving company for us one that is kinda just getting started and on their feet but they earned my trust and thats the most important thing. I recommend that this company explains they are brokers and explain that they are going to contract someone for the move and give a more accurate quote. I also recommend that they keep finding reliable movers for people and keeping in contact with the people they have helped during the move. I wish this company luck. Thanks again.

If I could give negative stars, I would. First of all, this is not a moving company; they are a brokerage service. You'd be better served by contacting an actual moving company directly. Second, there seems to be very little to no communication between this broker and the actual movers. I repeatedly (Nikki Buis was my contact) let them know that there would be two delivery points; however, this was news to the movers who showed up. As a result, all of the things were mixed up since they were not labelled properly to be delivered to two locations. Third, the payment procedure will bite you in the ass. Nikki gave a breakdown of the bill and told me what to be prepared to pay, including the final payment of cash or money order (which of course cannot be altered). But when the movers show up, they add all sorts of charges for how much tape they use (side note: I paid for a mattress cover, but the movers just wrapped the mattress in black plastic wrap), they add a charge whether there is an elevator or stairs, etc., all of which cannot be accounted for. All I had was the money order for what I was told was due. Further, my bill of lading with MoveSafe explicitly states the the movers will reassemble any furniture they disassemble; yet the movers left everything here as it was, wrapped up and disassembled. I had to put the bed frame and bookshelves back together. Finally, they contracted me out to a horrible moving company. Boxes were upside down; boxes marked fragile were turned sideways and upside down; entire items were missing (some which are antique and irreplaceable) and rather than speak with me, they passed me along to a claims company. In short, do not use this company (don't use Revolution Van Lines in Maryland either) and contact a reputable company directly.

Worst, worst experience in my life. Estimated space wrong after many times on the phone to clarify and discuss cost. Cost me 2000 more at pick up and more on delivery which took 7 weeks to get my things.Repeated calls to dispatch telling me I am next to load, then truck on its way to Colorado to pick up my things. I moved from NM to VA. Then told I am 3rd to load. Then told truck btoke down in Michigan. And each time nastiness from dispatch because I kept calling. Was told 10 to 17 days when I booked. Never told they are a broker and my things moved by another company. No reimbursement for many broken items and holes in my furniture which I had just purchased. Boxes big holes in. Hardware missing for drawers and back off dresser. And more. No one at Movesafe re.oves my calls. NEVER book with them. They saw a single, older Lady and took advantage.

Decent moving service, they crew seemed a bit dull to me, they weren't in the job and was not even listening to me.

I had a decent experience. Although the crew was on time and moved everything really swiftly, they handled a few things carelessly. My damage claim had to be filed, and it was processed, albeit slowly. Don't expect them to go above and above. Let's see what happens.
