This is the worst company I have ever done business with, The guys who work in my local office are nice, but they are the only positive of my so far year long experience. I have been overcharged, undercharged, told different things every time I talk with someone. I have been made to pay for override codes even though it was proven to be an error with my unit. There doesn't seem to be a set price for anything but the monthly cost and override code because no one could seem to figure out how much I had to pay to get it installed in a new vehicle. It's a terrible money racket with terrible customer service. I've been on hold for over 2 hours while being locked out of my car. If I had another option I would not use Monitech.

The technician ran into some difficulties but he kept troubleshooting and got everything fixed and got us out of there. He was very knowledgeable about his job and praise the Lord he has been sober for 24yrs!

Don’t care about customers, fine you for stupid stuff that might not be your fault but you still got to pay the fine even though the representative says it’s washer fluid , and then violates you and Raleigh wants MORE money to have you a hearing only to determine you DIDNT have a violation!! It’s all about money not about safe hiway control .

Unfortunately, our devices' settings are dictated by state regulations, so the fail readings on our devices are outside our control. Please note that the ignition interlock device will register any trace of alcohol from any source containing it - this is how the device effectively ensures an impaired individual is not able to start a vehicle, and how we are able to confidently state the Monitech ignition interlock is fulfilling its purpose. We advise in our training manuals, training videos, and in person when our clients install the device - to be mindful of testing right after eating, drinking, using mouthwash, etc., as doing this can potentially register a fail and will require the device to be reset.

Andy at the durham office is awesome! He is always so nice and helpful.. he makes a not great situation much better.. I have had some past experience with some of the Monitech technicians at other offices that weren’t very pleasant so it’s nice to know that Andy is always going to be a friendly face!
