They improved before my eyes earned my trust

Initially there was an issue with a coupon not being credited correctly, but it was resolved. Helpful customer service person replied to my email question about one of the features. A good experience overall and I really like the watch!

Easy to use website.

I bought the "Elegant" version of the watch which is not the cheapest but the thinnest one and has a real sapphire crystal. It is exactly what I expected! The back cover is connected to the case with 6 screws that I can easily unscrew in the future to change the battery. Five stars, why not!

The watch I ordered lost 15 minutes within two weeks. I called customer service and they were happy to send me a repair shipping label and said it would probably take a month by the time I got it back. When I asked about the 30-day return policy and suggested it would be quicker for me to just return the watch and then order a new one, they gladly sent me a shipping label. Had they recommended that instead of the repair, I would have given them 5 stars. I plan to reorder the watch.

The clock obviously was not checked to see if it was working. Once installing the batteries only the minute hand worked. We sent it back.

I purchased a Mondaine watch while on vacation in Sarasota FL in February. I live in VA. There is a problem with the calendar function so I have to send it to RI for servicing. Unfortunately there are not many dealers that carry the watch so since I don't live anywhere near one, and I want to utilize the warranty I am stuck with the shipping.
