Bought a Evo2 last year, this week it stopped working, I contacted a Mondaine service centre where they me to send the watch in, I have done so and I am now being told to pay them £172 to fix the movement as it is out of warrenty due to wear and tear to the strap. They are telling me they won't fix it because I have worn it. Would never buy a Mondaine again, poor build quaility and shocking post sales support. Style over substance!

I bought my Mondaine model in Switzerland some years back ,having been impressed by the efficiency and punctuality of the train network for whom Mondaine is the official timekeeper. But,alas, those same standards were not applicable to my timepiece. Inside a year it started going slow and would stop on and off. A servicing with an autorised workshop didn't improve things either. It ended up in a drawer,and I've since had fauitless timekeeping from a Japanese brand.

Look great but don't work! I had one about six years ago which stopped working. Thought I was unlucky. Spent £285 atJohn Lewis two and a half years ago on a Mondaine and now that has conked out too. I have returned them to the manufacturer............

I have a stop2go, had it for six months. It's been back to be repaired once for a sticking second hand. I am not convinced it's been repaired properly, it still occasionally sticks. Today the red Mondaine badge on the back fell off when I took the watch off. It keeps terrible time as well, always having to adjust. Terrible quality for a swiss made match, a total waste of money. Get a decent Casio for a quatre of the price, far better watch.

Classic brand - cheap clasp - Watch lost! Disappointed. My girlfriends 50th birthday gift was a Mondain because I was always raving about the cool way it stops on the minute to pause. I wanted the metal band and she oblidged. I flew to portugal on Thursday last and noticed that the bar on the clasp was simply held in place by springs. The watch fell off as I was putting my bag in the overhead compartment - and today - Monday - I went swimming in the atlantic and the clasp gave way again under pressure from a wave. Watch gone forever - what a disappointment - classic watch - cheapened by a cheap clasp - I'd like to meet the procurement manager or designer who made that choice and tell him he has reduced a classic brand to a disappointmment. Way to go guys !

I've had my Stop2go wall clock for about 6 months, and I'm disappointed with it. It keeps abysmal time for a clock costing well over £200, gaining 10 to 15 seconds every day. The time can only be corrected via an app on your phone. The app can set the time automatically, but this only seems to work when you first start the app. Leaving the app running on my phone does not keep the time on the clock correct. I have to stop the app and restart it to adjust the clock's time. A clock this expensive should make use of broadcast radio time signal as many much cheaper clocks do.

My husband has a collection of 3 Mondaine watches - all of which have stopped working on installation of new battery . We resorted in the end to a 20 mile trip to jeweller so called ‘specialising ‘ in the brand to insert the battery - all of which made no difference whatsoever - just a whacking great bill ! They might look great but they’re poor quality watches with no customer back up or company pride...

Watch was never delivered. I have been unable to contact the company regarding the issue. Or, they are ignoring every inquiry I make. Don't know. Don't care anymore. I will never buy a Mondain again. It has been so frustrating never getting any response except to ask for my details and then never respond again. God knows what would happen if I needed repairs.
