These meals are so small and the vegetables are always corn or peas for mixed vegetables. Most meals are macaroni of some kind. There are very few meals that taste good. The cookies are an embarrassment. They taste so nasty and have a horrible aftertaste that I throw them away. They are a waste of money and you can't do anything about them. They won't change anything. I had tried Mom's Meals long ago and it was better the meals were better and they had more choices. They used to have Little Debbie Oatmeal snacks and things that tasted good but now it has all changed for the worst. I wanted to try them again and I'm sorry I did. I will be canceling this service. Do not order from them. You will be sorry if you do. They will not listen when you tell them anything. They say that it goes with the meal yada yada yada. The meal are for the convenience but I can open a steamer bag of veggies and cook some macaroni for myself and do better than these. Lean cuisine meals from the grocery store are 10x better than these meals.

I had to be on a soft and pureed diet for 2 weeks due to gastric and hiatal hernia surgery. Momsmeals were outstanding, tasty and I highly recommend them. The delivery was quick and on time. No complaints and only praise!

Same issue... my delivery on May 29th started out that the food appeared to be fresh after a week 6 of the 10 meals were bad. again no string cheese and just a few powdered milk. I see this as a serious problem for seniors who are already not necessarily in good health to be receiving and possibly eating spoiled food and that they may not notice immediately to be spoiled. so my question is what exactly are you doing with these bad reviews of Mom's meals services. again I'm leaving my phone number 516-650-7102 but no one is returning my call. Terrible customer service. Delivered my first box to the people downstairs and when I called to see where it was, the customer service lady was the rudest most condescending hate my job person I’ve encountered in awhile. She must have thought me having cancer equals me being stupid so I left that conversation right where I found it. Do better.

I like these meals. Very tasty and quick to heat up, however the cold packs are another issue. They have to be thrown away however the leak badly. It says not to drain them in the sink so there must be some bad chemicals involved so leaking is probably even worse. Please fix the cold packs so they don't leak.

I can't rate the meals because I never had a chance to order them. My insurance company (BC/BS Fed) referred me to them and I wanted to order some meals to try. After logging in, browsing and selecting the meals I wanted, I wondered how long after ordering it would take for meals to be delivered. After 3 emails, (asking "how long after ordering will the meals be delivered?") and one phone call, I still don't know, so I cancelled order. The company replied promptly to the emails, but didn't answer the question. When I called tp find out how long delivery would take, "John" kept asking me what the delivery date is. The only thing he told me was something like, "You have to order by the Tuesday before the delivery date or you will be locked out." But he said he couldn't tell me when the date was; I had to tell him. Obviously, if they don't know when the delivery date is, the customer can't be expected to know! Based on the reviews here, it's probably just as well that I didn't order.

I first subscribed to Mom’s meals for my dad. He has congestive heart failure which makes hitting his daily sodium requirements challenging. I cannot express how grateful I am for the meals we got from this company which enabled my dad to still have delicious meals despite the restrictions. I came to love the meals myself and have now subscribed to them as I work my way to a healthier lifestyle. I always look forward to the simple but nutritious and delicious meals. Thank you to everyone from this company for helping caregivers like us have more time to focus on the things that matter.

These meals are thought out properly. They provide all the food groups in each meal. They are proportioned well and have several varieties of choices. My client who eats them is very satisfied with finishing one of them.
