As a senior, who has had both Mom’s, Meals on Wheels, NoutrishRx, and Homestyle….yuck all! When my 90 year old mother was alive, she felt the same…tastes/looks like garbage… all! Even Misfits veggies (from BC health plan) horrible! Seniors deserve better and these meals are not cheap. I’m sorry to be so long, but it angers me. My 93-year-old Aunt told me her neighbor gave her some of her meals from one of these companies, and she threw them promptly in the garbage. She is well off and can afford to go out for a $50 lunch with her friends. Most seniors cannot, including me. Shameful but at least Meals on Wheels delivers milk. Wow $10 for milk! *I now make bologna sandwich’s and cereal, eggs, sweets, occasional frozen dinner, milk and coffee (cheapest)…..

Where to start! Delivery service is sketchy at best. If no driver is available, meals are sent via UPS and arrive a day later than scheduled. NO ONE from Moms bothers to call and notify you of a delay. Now, let's talk quality - there is none. Nutritional value - questionable. They are providing smaller amounts of protein and larger amounts of starchy filler. The cheese is liquid (processed). Chicken is fake processed stuff. Eggs are instant. This is obvious in the taste and texture. Variety? Non-existent. Same limited selection for at least a year now, and the quality has declined to unacceptable. Of note: This is a for-profit company, meaning profits outweigh quality and service.

The instructoions in the the Meal"Pasta,Meat balls and Mariana Sauce" with the title, the Applesauce isn't mentioned for some reason in the title so your not thrown a waste of food you weren't looking, it functioned well and was well pretty great applesauca, but as a person that doesn't want it and just happen to taste it to figure out I like it. I still don't want someone wasting it, so that should added so people know, with the instruction the Puncturing of the Film isn't well specified, as typically I'd so most just do it to open something but the next step is after cooking it, so you can't remove the film but have to pierce it. Yeah it isn't specific enough, so I don't know if I actually did it aswell as I could have to feel like I either did good enough which I hate since the food typically just tastes fine which is not a person should be looking for or that is exactly what I had to do which is too convient to be true. The Food worked overall, from my mom the Packenging came clean and well put. Just that flaw man caused a headache in trying not to mess it up

There is good and bad with Moms Meals. Most of them taste decent enough. I am diabetic and have lost 50 lbs having their meals at dinner. My blood pressure and Blood sugar levels are both down. Unfortunately the BAD outweighs the good. Plastic Film covering tray can be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to remove. End up with film bits in the food. Customer Service is the ABSOLUTE WORST! Agents dont care if you have issues or concerns. Had to throw out spoiled meals that had unreadable freshness dates. Am in the process of finding another service.

Horrible shipping and customer service. They did not communicate well with the shipper which I in turn was forced to do. Correcting mistakes was left up to me the consumer. Food was very bland and highly processed ingredients. Fruit is low quality.

Moms meals are wonderful they are very fresh and the man who drops off the package is just wonderful his name is Felix he is always very kind and talkative he knocks on the door and we say come in and has the biggest smile on his face we are just so happy with the service and love the meals!!

The shopping experience was amazing! I did everything over the phone and gave them my Medicare information. They let me choose an assortment of meal options from five lunch/dinner options and five breakfast items. They even included some fresh produce and some desserts, along with some juice boxes, which I ate graciously. However, and this is where I'd give them a fat F--- is their food tasted entirely processed and used a ton of low-grade additives/preservatives, fillers, and emulsifiers. I know someone who ate this kind of stuff in an assistive living facility and actually got stomach ulcers from it. If they can really work on making good-quality meals that actually tasted more like real food, even if it was bland, possibly due to the low-sodium diet, then I might reconsider buying from them again.

Delivery? Dropped off 115’ hot today here no doorbell rung , ,Previous order all bread buns were moldy in sealed pkges ,,food taste none, ,would not order again but this order was gifted ,
