My husband and I have been on Mom's Mealsfor many years. For year's we've been putting up with less than satisfactory meals. They have way too much granola in them, which causes us to throw out whatever they put it in everything. Also, they DO NOT COOK THIER VEGETABLES. Especially the green Bean's and Carrots! We think they should leave out the granola altogether and replace it with a buscut or in the dinner's, a pc of Cornbread or Roll. COOK THE VEGETABLES TIL DONE and not Mush ether!!! We r extremely dissatisfied with Mom's Meal's right now! We have told them over and over, but nothing ever gets done about it! Also, THEY COULD PUT SOME NEW MEALS OUT ONCE IN A WHILE, WE GET TIRED OF THE SAME OLD THING, DAD AFTER DAY! WOULDN'T YOU???? Mom's Meal's need to listen to your customers! But u don't! As long as this keeps happening, we think we're gonna cancel their service and don't recommend them to anyone! Signed, Very Dissatisfied Gonna be Former Customer's soon!!!

Horrible. No way to contact. Their live chat is never answered. No way to adjust menu on a benefit program.

We look forward to having new meals to choose from as the selections get old. Last year's turkey dinner was delicious, but skimpy on the amount of turkey. I ordered 5 of this year's turkey meal. They are inedible. Very hard chunks of some meat ground up with bones and gristle. Can't even chew it. For most of us, Mom's Meals are our 1 main meal of the day. Then the pumpkin loaf. All 5 were covered in mold, see picture. Unacceptable. Customer service rep was very professional and is replacing these meals. I'd like the management team to serve this meal on Thanksgiving, seriously, nothing else. Having vegetables is important. More often, healthy veggies are replaced by apple sauce or fruit crisp. We depend on you. Please do better

I'm an elderly lady who has constant chronic pain which makes it very difficult to cook and clean. It's sad to say in a state as wealthy as Connecticut, Meals on Wheels can't afford to offer food that is better than Mom's Meals. In fact, MoW's were so bad I threw up 2 of the 3 meals I received..so we get stuck with garbage that is only slightly better than the former. Mom's Meals claim they have all these 5 star customers but seriously DON'T BELIEVE IT! It's so unfortunate that the elderly in my state have to suffer through the disgusting MoW or MMs. There menu has things I believe they think are great but they ruin what could have been barely edible with the worst tasting sauces I've ever had the misfortune to smell..never mind taste..who puts roasted peppers and some horrible sauce on corn for a simple chicken nugget..yes one chicken nugget! There Korean meatballs would have been okay but it's so spicy it's inedible. Don't they know that the elderly usually can't handle spicy, you can add spice but can't take it away! I spend most my time scraping and removing these horrible sauces (WHY DO THEY NEED THEM???) and still have to throw away the food because that disgusting taste is still there! I've even tried washing them..no luck! You have no idea how many meals I throw out each week or try to give away! Why would any State, Insurance company, and our Country sentence their elderly to such horrible food??? MONEY! If you can somehow avoid it stay away from this "dis"service. (Date of experience ONGOING)

Constantly messing up my order. 2 of the past 3 weeks I've gotten no food at all. Very difficult to work with this company.

This company has really gone downhill. My order was damaged in shipment, they said they'd replace it, they did not. I spoke with a supervisor named Dawn. I am also a social worker and have sent clients to this company when they were more organized. Based on this experience I will not do this again.

I am so grateful for these meals! It's like a blessing with every box I receive for the week. I am not soo hungry wondering what I am able to make and if I can accomplish it without any hazards. I spoke to Tamara in the customer service area when I called. She was delightful and patient with me going above and beyond. The food is delicious,there has been not one meal that I have not enjoyed. I recommend this to anybody who can qualify for the program. Thanks to all who work there from the delivery to the packaging to the cleaning personal there . I'm blessed with this . Someone made a mistake at MOMS MEALS. They forgot how to count. After I was told 3 times it was their mistake they still did nothing. I haven't received anything from Mom's Meals for almost 4 months now. I called for the 10th time to find out what's going on 2 weeks ago and was told I should get food again in November. I only get $84 a month food allowance and I have 2 rare diseases and many other illnesses that good nutrition might help. As far as their same menu every single week with not one meal I could say I enjoyed I would definitely not recommend putting yourself through the frustration to try and eat. Moms meals obviously doesn't give 2 damns if you eat or not. I bet if this happened to their family member it would of been fixed months ago. Most of us on this supposed meal plan are very sick or terminal. It's hard enough to get an appetite in the first place only to eat their bland tasteless meals which are better than nothing.
