Do not do business with this company! We purchased their globe chair and it broke within 3 months of normal use. After sending a detailed email that included photos, I was eventually informed that they decided not to honor the warranty, which is stated on your website as follows: “This manufacturer's guarantee covers all production defects or issues with materials or workmanship. If the product is used in the prescribed way and becomes damaged, you are covered. We cannot cover damage caused by misuse or accidents, your unpacking or reasonable wear and tear.” They claimed that the chair was misused because someone must have “maneuvered” the chair. I then called to talk to a manager and was referred to “Mike.” Mike did not return my call for a week, so I made a follow up call a week later. I was on hold for about 25-30 minutes and was disconnected once. Once I made contact with Mike, he said the claims team evaluated the evidence and decided someone had “shifted their weight in the chair.” I asked him if shifting one’s weight in a chair constituted misuse, but he deflected the question. Before buying from Modholic, know that they do not stand behind their products and their customer service is awful. Their handling of the matter has been so egregious that I am filing a complaint with my state’s consumer protection board.

Don’t do it. You buy something and it says it will ship in 2 to 3 days. Then the next day you get an email saying it will ship in 4 weeks. Then you email after 4 weeks and they tell you it will be another 4 weeks. Quick to take your money by lying about quick shipping when they know they don’t really have the product to send to you. Going to have to report fraud soon. This ‘business’ should be shut down. What a joke.

I wish I'd read these reviews before I bought chairs from them. This company is fraudulent. They did eventually send me 4 tulip chairs, but they ALL broke (with almost no usage) within weeks. When I asked for help fixing or replacing them, they forced me through a complicated process of ignoring, changing customer service reps, losing my details, ignoring again. And finally told me that too much time had elapsed to help me. I started the process within weeks and they made me wait until well over 2 years - at which time they gleefully announced that the time was too late. I feel like an idiot for going along with it all and for not reading these reviews beforehand. Do not touch this company. They shouldn't be allowed to do business

DELAYS, DELAYS, DELAYS and LIE after LIE I ordered a table and immediately contacted them to get the shipping date. I was told it was 2-3 weeks shipping time. I contacted them a month later and was told they were too busy to respond. I emailed again and was told by Shevy B it would less than a week before it shipped. Nobody contacted me to tell me this but it turns out that they don't have the table. It's one headache after the other. Also - I was told they DO NOT HAVE MANAGERS available. NONE. They might have one in March but there is nobody in the month of February who can help me. This is ridiculous. I wish I had read other reviews before ordering. Something is not right with this place.

When we purchased the Tulip table and chairs the item was listed as IN STOCK and under the item photo it stated the table would be shipped in 2-3 days. Bought the table. Money was pulled from our bank account immediately. The very next day we get an “item delayed” email citing Covid delays. New shipping date is 4 weeks. Suspicious only because the item had been listed as in stock at their Jersey warehouse. Ok - fine. No worries. One month later we’re still waiting so I send an email to customer service. NO response for weeks. Finally we get a response apologizing for the delays and stating the table would be arriving at the warehouse in 2 weeks. 3 weeks later and NO updates. No shipping info. It’s been a 2.5 months with no clue when the item will be arriving or if it ever will. I sent a final email to customer service demanding an update or I would report to our bank’s fraud department. Still no response so I guess that’s the direction we have to take now. It’s a shame because some of the reviews I’ve read have stated the product is actually really great and we were looking forward to it but this is unacceptable. Delays are completely understandable, especially in the current Covid environment. Total and complete lack of communication is not. Buyer beware.

I ordered several pieces of furniture on August 26th. It is September 30th and I have yet to receive them. The modholic website says all the right things about customer service, unique shopping experience, we value your feedback, you should have your items in about a week. ITS ALL LIES….UM…I mean marketing. It took a week for me to even get tracking information. Then another week for any updates to the location. E-mails to the company take about 5 days for a short, not very helpful response. The delivery company gave me a 4 hour window on a weekday when no one was available to accept the package so I had to wait until the following week. The delivery day came with my 4 hour window….11:30-3:30pm. That time comes and goes. No furniture. I call around 4pm and was told I was stop 19 they are on 16. Not sure how much longer maybe an hour or two?? I get a call a few minutes later and expect it to be the driver but no its the dispatch again telling me its not coming at all. Its 4:30pm but I get the excuse that they have to stop delivering because the department of labor only lets them work so many hours. WHAAAT??? I now have a delivery scheduled for this Saturday and am told I'm the 2nd stop. Now after reading google reviews, which I should have done before ordering, I see I need to look out for missing parts that will never be replaced among other things. Based on my experience with customer service I can definitely see that being a problem. There is no customer service. I will have to resort to stopping payment with my credit card, nasty reviews, contact BBB and attorney general. Hopefully, everything will arrive on Saturday and be great.

I ordered two bubble chairs from Modholic on June 16th 2021. I got a notification from Metropolitan Warehouse the next day that my order had shipped and they were the ones delivering it. On June 30th I received and error message that there was something wrong with the delivery. Turns out someone changed the address I originally entered on the order and sent it to New York instead of California. It’s now been almost 2 weeks of repeatedly showing them screenshots of the original address and begging them to fix it and send it to the correct location, and no one from either Metropolitan or Modholic will give me any answers or confirm they’ve fixed the issue. It’s been almost a month since I ordered this item, and we are vacating our apartment at the end of this month and running out of time to receive the item. I’m absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service and I am about to process a chargeback on my credit card

I ordered 6 chairs, only 3 arrived and completely ignored since. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I wish I didn’t believe all the 5-star reviews from their website. I wish I should’ve googled other reviews and found out so many nightmares with this evil company. Please check out their BBB reviews(F which is worst) and see how bad they are. I ordered 6 master chairs April 1st, 2020 from this company, waited for 3 months with numerous emails but not a single response, then only 3 chair shipped. I immediately contacted a customer service guy called Mike. He responded he would get back to me by next day... Guess what, as of December 15th, 2020. I’m still waiting for the chairs. Mike ignored my emails as usual. Few weeks later of half-delivery, my husband finally was able to call Mike. He claimed he shipped two boxes with 6-chairs. He thinks we are lying and he YELLED AT US!!! I am stuck with my old dinning chairs with 3 master chairs.
