I ordered outdoor chairs and was later informed they were backordered and delayed by five weeks. I understand shipping delays happen, but I was charged immediately and had to continually follow up for updates. I ultimately cancelled the order and requested a refund, which I’m still waiting to receive. Very disappointing customer service and communication.

I'm an architect and was a bit wary but took a chance since there were many good reviews. Bad choice. Chairs took FOREVER to arrive, and only after continual badgering. I was told prior to purchase that they were authentic black walnut wood and not just a stain - WRONG. They are generic wood stained a black walnut. Four out of 8 chairs had damage that I thoroughly reported. Claims went unanswered and customer service was horrible. I was finally ghosted - there's no way I would recommend them. We are making do and I did my best to repair dents and scratches, but the whole experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. STAY AWAY!

Ordered 4 dining room chairs. Returned them b/c they easily tipped over with my young kids running around. Got the return label and returned the chairs. Never got my refund. Called and called and called customer service and they never picked up the phone.

I ordered the soho coffee table, it said on the site at the time that the product would be shipped in 3 days. I waited for a week, received an email saying product is backordered and it would take 6 weeks. I was in no hurry, so I decided to wait. Sent an email 6 weeks later, and I was told it would take another 4 weeks. Kept checking with them over email. After 6 months of not receiving the product, I asked for a refund. Did not receive a reply, then charged back through the credit card company. I did a reverse image search of the coffee table, and I found the original seller website in India. Turns out Modholic is a drop shipping company at best, and and outright scamsters at worst.

I strongly advise anyone considering Modholic to think twice before placing an order. I have yet to receive the chairs from my order, and despite making over 10 phone calls and sending at least 7 emails, I’ve received absolutely no meaningful response. No updates, no accountability, no customer service—nothing. They do not answer their phones, and emails go ignored. At this point, the lack of communication is as concerning as the failure to deliver the product. This is not a minor delay—it’s a complete breakdown in basic business responsibility. I am now pursuing action through small claims court and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor: stay away from this company.

I have now tried calling customer service about 100 times (not an exaggeration) and emailed asking for a refund... NO RESPONSE... terrible!!!!!

My fiance and I ordered an item and were charged over $1200. The item was never sent and it’s been over a month. I have requested a refund via email and never got an answer. Now they don’t answer via phone, email or chat. Do NOT order from this company unless you are ok throwing away money.

I ordered two chairs, they said it would take three weeks to deliver. On the fourth week, with no delivery, I asked where my order was. They said three more weeks. I asked to cancel my order and get a refund. They have not responded. DO NOT order from this company
