ORDER #252617

ORDER #252617 DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THS COMPANY! I purchased a ring that I believe was inauthentic it was too small and too light I sent it back on May 1. Since then I have been told multiple different stories: First, they received the ring back but it was not in sellable condition even though I returned it the next day then that they didn't receive it and then that they received an empty box. The ring was coming from a company called Rebag via Bloomingdale's. They also told me they shipped me the ring back, once again different stories: they shipped the ring back, they shipped a pouch back, they shipped an empty box back. I never received anything back and it said I signed for this return package, which I did not. I have tried to contact all of these companies as well as UPS and Fedex several times, but because I am not the account holder/shipper I could not do anything and Rebag/Bloomingdales needed to contact them, however UPS did tell me the package I returned was delivered to Rebag open and damaged in their system. And because the purchase was through Modesens I couldn't do anything. How is this right? I have been the one chasing to get my refund back via Bloomingdales and Rebag but Modesens employee information is under the billing and not me and all communications are emailed to them. In regards to Modesens: you are putting your money literally in their hands, thus everything remains out of your control, there is no way to reach them they have no phone number and they won't respond to your emails, they started ignoring me and only responded to me after I wrote a review, in which they told me I am under modesens protection but then they never responded to my emails again after that, also after almost TWO months of waiting for my refund I filed a dispute with PayPal and Modesens immediately responded to PayPal to stop me from getting my money, even though Bloomingdales has told me this is my best option to receive my refund. Bella is the only customer service agent and she will not respond to me and my purchase is under someone else's name from Modesens and my refund is supposed to go to Alexandra, this is SCARY all the Billing is under Modesens and I was just under shipping, so literally the companies won't deal with me and they refer me back to Modesens who won't contact the shipping companies or stand by their word. Bloomingdale's told me they are not affiliated and they are a scam company and they used a Bloomingdale's loyalist account to obtain points on the purchase I made that I returned. They have also tried to take my previous review down multiple times. DO NOT TRUST THEM! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Update: they keep trying to take my posts down!

Response from ModeSensJun 23, 2025

Hi Natalie, Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. ModeSens is a shopping tool, and your order was fulfilled by our partner store, Bloomingdale’s. After a thorough investigation, Bloomingdale’s confirmed that while your return package was received, the box was empty upon inspection. As a result, the return was denied, and the empty box was shipped back to you. According to the carrier, the package was delivered and signed for under your name. We completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this situation must be. While we do our best to advocate for our customers, we are obligated to honor the final return decisions made by our partner stores. That said, we’re pleased to let you know that your order is covered under ModeSens Shopper Protection. As such, we’ll be happy to reimburse you for the full order value in ModeSens credit. If there’s anything more we can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued trust. Warm regards, The ModeSens Team
