Worst thing I ever did was getting involved with these phonys when I got tested they let me hear the highest quality hearing aids they had when they ran my credit I was approved and the doctor said over and over these are high quality hearing aids and when I complained they said we have to keep adjusting I had finally had enough and then he told me you got tested with the high end ones they sold me what could afford screwed me big time I quit paying them watch out for bait and switch

I expected more for $8000.
The ad said I could try them out with no obligation to buy but this was not an option when I got to the Glendale office. The have a restocking fee of 10% if you decide they are not for you. An $8000.00 hearing aid was broken (would not charge) the day I got them. After 3 weeks of waiting for something I'm not sure if I got back new replacement or refurbised ones.

Insurance problem
I emailed miracle ear customer care about insurance that was not covering a needed repair and received an answer the next morning from Melinda Hallgren asking for a phone number so she could open a case and while I was answering her email
our local miracle ear location called my husband to tell him the district manager had emailed them and said they would waive the fee. That is what I call fast service. Prior to my email to customer care the district manager had been notified twice in 2 weeks about the issue and never even contacted us. I recommend emailing customer care with any problems.

MIRACLE EAR IS NO MIRACLE!
FOR THE RECORD, you MAY receive a mailing offering you a $20 gift card FROM WALMART, as I did. It is being offered as an enticement for you to get a "Free hearing exam at Miracle-Ear." I did it. I had the exam, at Roseville, Minnesota, just a few miles away from their corporate HQ in downtown Minneapolis, ironically enough.
Afterwards the young man who handled my exam sat behind his desk, and explained to me the details of the results, basically informing me I had some serious issues with my left ear's sensitivity to frequent sounds, including most speech. I appreciated his detail, and got a copy of the diagnosis.
Afterwards, he switched roles and began delineating how much the appropriate hearing aids would run me. More than $3K. He also shared there were payment plans available. Up to this point, I have no issues with the place.
THEN, the drama starts. On my way out, the receptionist, informs me that they do not issue the gift cards. They are mailed out from a 3rd party vendor, and that it would take 2 weeks. That was a disappointment since I had planned on making a Walmart run after that appointment. 2 weeks turned into 3 weeks, then a month. And lo,it JUST arrived TODAY, 37 days later.
But THAT'S not the kicker! Its NOT even a WALMART gift card it is a "Drive Visa Prepaid Card, which can ONLY be used "inside gas stations, or to load your electric car's charging app account! I DONT EVEN HAVE A CAR, NOR DO I DRIVE!
So I can only get overpriced snack food or drinks with it! I already let that office know I would not use their services for my hearing aids. I suggest you don't either.....unless you have an electric car!

Unfriendly Staff
The staff was not friendly, the minute we walked in the office I sensed a spirit of coldness towards us. I asked if we would get the $20.00 gift card for WalMart at the office; because I’ve been there before with different staff and was given to me after the testing. The receptionist told me that the only way I would get it if I had a hearing problem. I mentioned to her that that’s not what it said on the flyer, but she just ignore me and never gave me an answer and never gave me an answer. The person that did the testing was also not friendly. I asked if I could have a copy of the testing and she told me would be $10.00; I thought it was hilarious. I had gone to another company for testing about a year ago, and they gave me a copy for free. I’ve been to miracle ear before; they’ve always given me free copies of the testing; plus I’ve never experienced such an attitude from the staff before. I will not do business with people that treat me unfair. I’m human like everyone else and I deserve to be treated fairly. Thank you

This week I had my very first hearing…
This week I had my very first hearing test. I am a 78 year-old woman. I was a little worried about the testing and such and what the requirements were going to be but all of my concerns were for nothing. I had my hearing test in Plainfield, Indiana done by Maggie Smith. She was courteous knowledgeable, and put all of my apprehensions about what to expect at ease she explained the basics of the year and what the test would entail. It took all of less than an hour. I suggest strongly that everyone especially after a certain age or before, if they’re having difficulties, have a test done such as this I will be going back to have another test done in a couple of years or before if I start having hearing difficulties, I remember I recommend the store and this employee of theirs named above for prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable help thank you for allowing me to post this sincerely, Donna Chappell Loudermilk..
