CONSUMER WARNING! Most sellers of hearing aids offer a free 60-90 day trial. MIRACLE EAR DOES NOT! They offer a 30 day trial and it is not free. John, at this location, charged us $500.00 when we returned their hearing aids on the 14th day. This policy is apparently nation-wide with local authority to pencil into the fine print the amount of the "restocking fee". Consumer complaints filed around the nation with the BBB indicate fees of $25.00 to $125.00. Ten out of ten people that looked at our agreement agreed that the penciled in amount appeared to be $25.00 each, not $250.00. Had this amount been disclosed, we would certainly not have entered into the 30 day trial.

These people are running a scam
These people are running a scam. By advertising free trials and then not refunding so called restocking fees they take advantage of seniors.

Disappointing Experience with Miracle-Ear – Problems Since Day One
I purchased hearing aids from Miracle-Ear approximately three years ago through my Cigna/Amplifon insurance arrangement. They were a substantial purchase, and I expected a reliable product backed by good customer service.
Unfortunately, the hearing aids have not worked correctly since day one. The Bluetooth has never worked properly, which has been an ongoing frustration. For a product of this price, I expected the technology to work as it should.
What makes this experience even more disappointing is that, when I purchased the hearing aids, the salesperson explicitly promised me free lifetime aftercare.
Now, approximately three years later, I am being told that I must pay for appointments because the hearing aids were funded through insurance.
So I have hearing aids that have had problems since the day I bought them, Bluetooth that has never worked correctly, and now I am expected to pay for appointments despite being promised lifetime aftercare.
I understand that insurance arrangements may have different terms, but why was I given that assurance at the point of sale if my purchase was not eligible?
I feel badly let down by both the product and the service. I purchased these hearing aids expecting them to work correctly and to receive the aftercare I was promised.
I want Miracle-Ear to review my original purchase, explain why I am now being charged, and address the ongoing Bluetooth problems.
I would strongly encourage Miracle-Ear to look into how this sale was handled and provide a fair resolution.

My hearing aid supplier retired and I was referred to Miracle-Ear…
My hearing aid supplier retired and referred all patients to Miracle-Ear (on Miracle-Ear letterhead). The referral stated that Miracle-Ear would provide a FREE HEARING EVALUATION and FREE CLEAN and CHECK of my current hearing aids. The referral was specific to the Greenfield, WI store.
I made an appointment and visited on 09/28 to be greeted with the first questions "what insurance do you have and can I get a copy of your driver's license". I thought this a little odd, cosidering what I was there for, but complied.
I (and my wife, who was invited to attend when I made the initial appointment) were ushered into an office, where the Miracle-Ear operative proceeded to ask numerous questions about my hearing experience, but from the reactions, was not really that interested in my responses. All he wanted to do was denigrate my hearing aid supplier and the service provided - totally uncalled for.
He then asked for the aid from my "worst" ear and proceeded to vandalize it by removing and discarding the small earwax filter, telling me that this will now "improve your hearing".
When he was asked if my current aids could be adjusted to meet my current hearing requirements and that I was not interested in purchasing new aids if an adjustment (or re-programming) could be made, he advised that we were out of time and a HEARING EVALUATION was not possible. We were then shuffled out of the office as he had a "heavy appointment schedule". There was no one waiting upfront!!
THIS WAS THE WORST EVER EXAMPLE OF DECEIT, MISREPRESENTATION AND NONPROFESSIONALISM THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED ANYWHERE PERIOD.
My advice to anyone contemplating visiting Miracle-Ear anywhere, is think twice and be warned. They couldn't care less about you or their "promises" unless it involves the purchase of their mediocre, over priced aids.

Bought very overpriced hearing aides…
Bought very overpriced hearing aides from Miracle Ear. When received them was a lot of static in one ear. They kept saying that there was nothing wrong with it. Returned home but was back after trying them for a week.supposedly made some adjustments. Nothing changed. After 2 more trips to their office Miracle Ear sent the one back. It took 4 weeks to get it back, but still doing the same thing.i am in a wheelchair so it has been very difficult to keep going back in. Once was told it wasn’t fitting correctly but the girl said it was ok. Finally after doing this for 2 months or more we talked to a technician. He agreed it didn’t fit correctly so took another ear impression. After about 7 weeks finally received a call they they got it back. Went in again and it was the same hearing aid that we originally had. Nothing was changed on it. CUSTOMER SERVICE is terrible. After putting of off for about 4 months we were told we could not return them because the guarantee expired!
OVER PRICED …. POOR SERVICE …..
unfortunately Miracke Ear will not honor a guarantee even though we went to them with problems right away. Poor business practice !

I expected more for $8000.
The ad said I could try them out with no obligation to buy but this was not an option when I got to the Glendale office. The have a restocking fee of 10% if you decide they are not for you. An $8000.00 hearing aid was broken (would not charge) the day I got them. After 3 weeks of waiting for something I'm not sure if I got back new replacement or refurbised ones.
