I called in the morning. He said bring it down and he'll get it done today. Dropped the Mustang off 10:30. Told him the silver ring the holds the ignition barrel broke off and the barrel comes out with the key. Which all you need to steal it is slide the barrel out and start it with anything. Called 3:30 and there's 3 ahead of me which he didn't tell me on the phone. So now my car might stay over night which i do not want bc what i just mentioned. I asked if he has a bull pin they keep cars safe. NO, the cars say in the parking lot.no security. I told him there's like $6,000 in stereo equipment in my car along with the ignitionthing thing. That I'll come and get it if they couldn't get to it. Said he'll call to let me know. No call, no answer there closed and they have the only key. (Not going to break into my car) Everybody knows my car. They've heard it. So now it's sitting in the parking lot for the taking. I know they won't pay a dime if it gets stolen.

my store is on rte 9 woodbridge NJ i…
my atore is on rte 9 woodbridge NJ i went in for brakes and shocks all around. they did the breaks had to rebleed them after we had the vehicle for 3 days. they did the shocks and the 2019 Ford Flex rode worse than before I sent it there. they changed the shocks to KYBshocks, they were terrible so we took it back. they claimed the shocks that were sold to them were refurbished??? and they told me they changed my springs. why??? Mike stated thats what they do when repalcing shocks. they do it from the ground up. now they are going to replace my shocks/struts with EOM parts. which they did. but after 3 days the vehicle was terrible. had slight rake higher in the backend. i take it there today to have them test drive it. they statethey felt nothing wrong with it. then they tell me that the springs are my original springs. they never took them out. the lies just kept coming .plese do not go to this Midas. 4000.00 and its going to the dealer to get inspected. I WILL SUE them. if that report comes back bad. they changed out my battery and I asked them to clean the battery terminals one was acified. they did not do it but said they did. i told him about it and they sprayed it will some kind of cleaner all over the engine turned it white. they ended up cleaning the whole engine. they replaced all of my tires and did not match them up properly with the vehicle. they are terrible tires .
they are salesmen. not mechancs. they were laughing at me. terrible just terrible I made the biggest mistake of my life going there and trusting them be ause they have a lifetime warranty. i have pictures of everything and when I get the report from the dealer I will send everything to my lawyer. this is not right

The staff was great
The staff was great, helped me solve my problem with my heat shield. Everyone was helpful (even offering me a bandaid, for an unrelated cut). Were quick and honest.
Would highly recommend this location, Eglinton and Tomken, Mississauga, Ontario.

Midas Said They Did But They Didn't
I had been a Customer of Midas since the early 2000s. Fast-forward, 2024, I decided to go to another Midas, thinking I would get the same Great Service. The Manager Paul, never asked if I had been there before. I just asssumed once he put my Name in, it would show my Info but it didn't. Fast-forward again, about a Month ago, I took my Car to the Midas, located on E. Galbraith Rd in Reading/Cincinnati, OH. I got there at 8:00am & watched thru the Glass Window to see what they were going to be doing to my Car. After sitting there for 3 hours, I saw nothing being done to my Car. I approached the Manager, Paul & he told me that the Mechanic had Test Driven my Car & found nothing wrong with it. I stated to him, "No he did not. My Car was pulled out of the Parking Space & put directly in one of the Empty Bays. The Mechanic never drove my Car." He proceeded to say, "I'll Test Drive your Car," which he did. He came back, handed me my Keys & said nothing was wrong. We spoke about me possibly bringing it back & leaving it. As I pulled out of their Parking Lot, my Car was acting like it was about to Shut-off. I made it home but the next Day, my Car stopped on me. I was very upset that they had me sit there for 3 hours & did "NOTHING" to my Car. Imagine if I would have left, they would have Sworn they looked at my Car. Again, I watched from the Glass Window & all the Mechanic did was open the Hood & flashed a Flashlight over my Engine & that was it. The Manager, Paul should have been making sure his Mechanics were doing their Job instead of him trying to get people to sign up for the Midas Credit Card. In saying all this, if you can, do not leave your car with them because you don't know if they are really Checking it out. The only good thing that came out of this for me was that he did not Charge me a Diagnostic Charge & he shouldn't have. If he would have, I would have had to File an FTC Complaint & maybe others to get my Money Back. Yes, they do have some Good Reviews & some Not So Good Reviews & everyone has Different Experiences. I had a Bad Experience & will not be taking my Car back there.

Greedy employee who tried to take undue advantage of a female
A few weeks ago I noted that I had a flat tire. Since I live close by I decided to call Midas located at 2424 Broadway, San Antonio Texas 78215. I called and spoke with someone who gave me what I considered to be a decent price for one tire. When I was ready to bring the car in, I phoned again and spoke with someone who gave me a different price. It had doubled! I asked why and he said there were fees for this and fees for that and I said that is NOT what I was told the full, walk out price would be. Needless to say, I refused and had my car towed to Discount Tires for a much better price.

Did not do the work I wanted, did not have parts
I came in on a Thursday to schedule repairs. Ended up making appointment for following Friday, 8 days later. I explained that my 18 year old car, a Chrysler 300 needed suspension looked at. probably needs springs, struts, as it makes noise when I sit down and when I turn the wheel. I also told them I wanted both heat shields fastened down, that they need new fasteners and large washers. Also wanted to look at rear brakes for future appointment, as when I stop the back end wobbles. Got it there by 8:45 on scheduled Friday. The lady wanted to charge me $110 for inspection of suspension and brakes. I told her I would not pay for brake inspection, and to just do front suspension and heat shield. She then did not know what to do and said they could not do the work because I would not pay for inspection. I said, 'forget the brakes. Do the suspension please. She created a new quote. I said, 'thanks'. I then re-explained about the heat shields. When I called at 12:45, they had not yet looked at it. Then, at 1:15 got a call from the mechanic who said it needs springs as it made noise when he sat down, but they did not have the springs in stock. This pissed me off, as I made appointment 8 days before, and springs were requested by me. He said springs could be in by Monday. I explained that I took a vacation day and had no vehicle the entire day. The reason I made an appointment was I wanted the work done in that time. They ended up charging $775 for upper and lower tie rods on both sides and front end alignment. Holy smokes, that seems excessive. Also, they did not re-install the heat shields, that they were wider than the fastener, (which is why I said to use larger washers, ~D-uh! ) and recommended removal. Another holy smokes. WTH is wrong with these people? I paid, but they did not fix the rattling and squeaking. They want to charge nearly $800 for springs. But as they did not have in stock when I told them it needed when I made the appointment, and they did not repair the rattling heat shield, which is a simple fix with new bolts and large washers. I won't go back to this shoddy scam Midas in Roosevelt Park, Michigan. Very unhappy with them.

my son took his 2004 excursion to get brakes. Midas charged $2000. Since I told my son I would pay for it. I was very upset. The going rate is $1000 or less. I called the man at Midas and asked him why their prices were so inflated and he said that my son did not need to bring his truck there. I would not go there, as they are double in price of what other automotive places charge. This was at Midas is New Paltz, New York.

Midas on Mexico Road, St. Peters, MO quoted tires…
Midas on Mexico Road quoted tires almost 2X the going rate. I questioned the price and they said that was for the premium parts that he would put on his car to drive his family around, but he could find some cheaper ones. (I gues my family is worth less than his)
I Refused the work. Took it to a reputable place and the rear brakes were not even in need of replacement. I wil never return to a Midas.
