Hi I am in India at the moment and I have an account with this bank for last 8 years during Covid 19 I had to be in India for last 2 months I did not had so much of balance in my account and my card was expired and I was calling every week to know what’s happening that I am using my card and was declined no response from the bank I didn’t had so much of balance as I have spent in calling from India so rude staff I will suggest if any body having account overseas do not open account with this bank it is not a bank they are thieves not helping anyone I repeatedly say do not trust this bank untrusted bank I will make sure once I am there back I am not going to leave this bank to sue them Not thank full to rude staff

I have been a customer of this bank since it opened and a advocate of it advising many people to join at as I work as a student advisor in Cambridge. It is unbelievable how far down hill it has become and now at the bottom of the barrel. Not following up important requests and not responding to complaints. Even the Bank in Cambridge not following up complaints when you take time off work to physically go in to find out what is happening. Customer service abominable and fraud department a law unto themselves - they lie and even though calls are recorded - no-one is bothered to look or listen to listen to resolve any issues. Please think carefully before banking here. It all seems good until you have an issue. Not so much the revolution bank - now the reversal bank of all promises to customers. Can’t wait until my finances mature so I can close down my last account - they just don't care anymore. Good ridden to bad rubbish

ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE Over six times I have reported the same problem to Metro Bank. On the fifth time the person investigating the complaint asked me to contact him, I did, no one could find him so I asked for a call back, no call back. After two weeks I contacted them again and they said please give us your number, which I did on every occasion. Tell us a day and time to contact you, which I did and we will ring you. I waited and waited and waited NO CALL, exactly the same as before. I think the Omnisman is the next stop, good luck to him they probably won't respond to him!

the customer service is awful they block my account suddenly without any notice and reason. and they did not answer why they blocked.

Absolute nightmare trying to get hold of money from a matured bond. Numerous phone calls over 2 weeks and they simply don't do what they say they will do. Seems so consistent that it might well be their policy.

You guys are amazing in customer service, shout out to your branch in Bath city centre.

Metro bank wasted 6 months and £800 trying to set up a mortgage. We lost 2 properties thanks to Metrobank who constantly undervalue houses. Why do they bother offering mortgages. I can only think it is to get £400 valuation fees. Complete waste of time, will never look at this bank for anything financial.

Absolutely bloody nightmare trying to set up my internet banking with Metro, but did it in the end, but so frustrating. Great staff, helpful, and great telephone staff especially. No other bank has such great opening hours. Still getting used to everything, but hoping I’ll have no more irritating problems.
