Cannot get through to return.
The actual purchase was fine. I currently have 3 pairs of Merrell shoes which I love. I purchased a different style with the understanding of free shipping and free returns. I did not like the way the newer shoes felt and tried to contact Merrell on Customer line two or 3 times shortly after receiving and could not get through. Since the return policy is good through January I thought I could return now. I cannot get through on telephone or chat on website and cannot get a return label printed. They were half price & I paid with Paypal which billed $32.95, but Merrell order shows $69.,95. I would like this resolved and will not buy from them again.

Speed Strike Mid GTX
Speed Strike Mid GTX. Awful quality. The description says they’re waterproof boots. They’re not, even a short walk in wet grass leaves your feet wet.
Merrell are no longer a true outdoor walking shoe, they’re just another fashion brand.
I contacted their customer support and they were hopeless. They said they’d check if was a manufacturing fault, it’s not, it’s a quality and design fault.

DO NOT BUY MOAB FLIGHT SVE 1TLR X RCI
I am an old customer residing in India.
I have managed to get my Merrell shoes and sandals from Singapore and have been wearing them for the last 15 years plus.
This time I imported MOAB FLIGHT SVE 1TLR X RCI from the USA , after paying full price + import duty + GST and they have turned out defective. I have blisters on the skin on the Achilles Tendon.

I have a pair of expensive walking…
I have a pair of expensive walking shoes that are just over a year old and literally falling to bits.
The tops are peeling and soles hanging off,the best things left on them are the laces.
Will never buy or recommend them.

Under size boots
This has to be about the worst experience I have ever had with any company I have ever shopped online with. Bought a pair of Merrel Moab boots with the Vibram arctic grip souls, as I had an accident last year when I slipped on wet ice, banged my head and ended up in hospital with concusion. I wanted them for winter use only, the couple of weeks a year basically, when we get bad snow and ice, and hopefully avoid a repeat of last year. At £165 a pair for work boots, they were basically going to sit in the cupboard for most of the year. The boots were ordered in October so as to be prepared well before we got the bad weather, and before my business gets very busy. They arrived within approx 1 week of ordering. Due to work commitments, I did not have a lot of time available to check them over. Quickly tried them on, and thought Mmm a bit tight, but new boots usually are and should stretch, put them back in the box for the winter weather and within 3 days found myself abroad again. It was mid November when I returned back to the UK, and never gave these boots a thought until I needed them when the bad weather did hit in December. I had a little more time on my hands this time, and tried them on properly, and though NO WAY are these a size 12 as ordered. I looked at the labels though, and sure enough labeled up as a UK size 12. So I compared them next to my regular work boots which are a 12, and the Merrel boots are so small its unbelievable (if only I could put a picture here with my review. Off course Merrel did not want to know. They say on their website that you should allow 48 hours for them to answer an email, but it took them 5 days the first time, 5 days the second and 3 days on the third. When they initially said sorry but you are outside of our 30 day time line, and we cant do anything to help, I just contacted Paypal who I paid for them through as Paypal have a 90 day policy on such issues. What a suprise, on doing that Merrel replied saying yes in this case we will take them back for a full refund. But its not a refund I need, its a pair of good winter work boots. But Merrel now say sorry we dont have any more size 12 in stock. Well obviously if your size 12's are two sizes too small for UK buyers, then a 12 is going to be no good in any case. May I just add, that these boots are made in Vietnam, and they are only little people out there, probably dont know what a UK size 12 actually looks like! I would say at least two sizes bigger than what you supplied me with! Oh thats not available either. Well no winter boots for me then! May I also just add, over 72 % of the reviews left here on Trustpilot for Merrel have left negative feedback. Avoid yourself all the hassle and buy from somewhere else and dont be fooled like I was into thinking that they are expensive, so they must be good, because they are far from it.
