I love Merrell footwear but sadly their customer service reps are not helpful, they don't seem to care. My shoes were delayed through Fedex and I'm still waiting on them. I called Merrell for help - waited on the phone for ages and then they hung up on me, when I did finally get through the woman just didn't give a hoot basically. Said there was nothing she could do. Appalling.

Merrell winter moccasins used to be great and my first 2 pairs lasted for years (until the soles wore through). My last pair had the leather upper become unglued from the sole in multiple spots and the pull-up strap in back of one shoe tear off after only 3 months. Merrell "customer support" was dismissive. No more Merrells for me.

J'ai acheté des chaussures Merrel soi-disant gore tex. Au bout de 3 mois d'utilisation, il s'avère qu'elles prennent l'eau , le cuir se déchire et la semelle se décolle... C'est tout simplement honteux lorsqu'on regarde le prix des chaussures. C'est du vol.

Scrivendo su google "Merrell" sono stata indirizzata automaticamente al sito "Shoes shop Italia". NON CASCATECI! Truffata!! Non è il sito ufficiale Merrell. Ho ordinato un paio di scarpe e 2 t-shirt un mese fa. Una volta spedito l'ordine sul sito di tracciamento del pacco ho visto che partiva dalla Cina..Ho seguito i vari aggiornamenti di spedizione del pacco ed ora risulta consegnato... Pacco mai arrivato!

I've been wearing Merrell Moab 2 shoes for all sorts of walking for years. Recently I was unable to get them in my size so decided to try a pair of Forestbound shoes instead. I'm really glad I did! I've no complaints about Moab 2, but I'm really impressed by the Forestbound performance. The leather uppers may not appeal to some wearers, but if that's not a problem for you, then give them a go. They are waterproof, really waterproof, and the soles have a heavier lug than many models. This winter has certainly been wet, and the woodland paths I use for dog walking are thick with mud, and uneven, with tree roots and stones underneath. These shoes have dealt with all conditions so far, and they are an excellent fit. If you need a walking/hiking shoe that's more capable than your hiking shoes but you don't want to wear boots the Forestbound fits the bill very well in my opinion.
