We used a cat sitter from Meowtel. Two weeks later, we were robbed and all of my jewelry was stolen. No one else had access to the house, and the robbery was very targeted (i.e. only the jewelry box which was there at the meet and greet, but not there during the kitty sitting appointment). We have no proof. We have never been robbed before and no one else had access to the house or a key to house. I would not recommend using a Meowtel sitter unless you have done extensive references.

Requested a cat sitter over the holidays and paid nearly $300. The cat sitter then canceled on me (several hours later), then Meowtel did not refund my deposit to my visa but rather kept it as a credit to my account. I have no desire to rebook with them and am quite frustrated that I did not automatically receive a refund to my visa to use at a competitor.

I had been using a little neighbor girl to watch our senior cat Bella, but the last time she forgot! So I hired Elizabeth. She was OUTSTANDING! She communicated frequently and easily, sent me pictures, even picked up our mail. She will be our go-to forever!

The pet sitter I hired through Meowtel unfortunately felt she did not have to keep the litter boxes clean while I was gone even though I was paying for two 45-minute visits per day. I came home to an absolute mess. I sent pictures and an incriminating email from the pet sitter to Meowtel. They immediately told me they were investigating my complaint. They apologized both by email and phone, gave me a partial refund, and replaced a damaged piece of furniture. I will definitely use them again, although a different pet sitter of course. I was impressed by how quickly they made amends.

Wow. I was so excited when I saw an add to sign up to be a cat sitter. I took the initial quiz and was accepted. I started working on my profile. I just now received an email that I wouldn’t be a good fit. What. The. Heck. Let me just say I come with over 18 years of veterinary technician, pet sitting and foster care experience and had excellent references. There would have been nothing of concern in my background check. To add insult to injury, they would not even give feedback as to why I was not a “good fit”, citing they had too many applicants. You blew it folks. I was really looking forward to being part of the team. Now I’m going to make sure every cat person I know does not use you.

I have been a sitter for over 3 years and this is NOT just a job to me, this is my career. I take pride in working with Meowtel. I have over 15 clients that I adore. I've bonded with their kids(kitties) and I love them like they are my own. I had one client that devastated me last year when she left a review full of lies. My track record was a perfect 5.0 until her. I was so distraught and so depressed that I contacted Meowtel and asked them if I should quit. They highly suggested that I didn't let her review get me down. I thought I wouldn't get any new clients. But I was wrong, I have dozens of new clients that I adore. I'm so happy that Meowtel convinced me not to quit. I'm happy with the Meowtel life I live, I love it. Thank you Meowtel you rock!! 🤘

I run my cat sitting business through Meowtel and they are WONDERFUL. Their commission rates are totally fair, transparent, and completely worth it. If I were doing this on my own, I would never be able to provide the same quality of service to my clients because I don't have the resources to hire a support team, find insurance, build a great platform, or market my business. I do have a "day job" that I'm also passionate about, but it doesn't pay very well. Meowtel brings in the extra income that I need while also giving me the time with animals that my soul needs. The CEO is awesome and still very involved in her company. She not only conducted my interview/ onboarding video call, she personally shipped the marketing materials that I requested and she even answered the phone herself when I called Sitter Support. I had a brief stint with Wag! but I rarely use them anymore because my experiences with Meowtel have showed me just how badly I was being exploited at Wag! Whenever I needed support I was virtually stuck on my own, but Meowtel is always very responsive. I always speak to the same couple of people who not only know me, they know my clients. I can't say enough good things about Meowtel.
