I tried to apply. I didn't know how rigorous the process was. I didn't see the warning and just started filling out the application . My two detailed references where not professional enough and I decided not to ask someone else to do yet another reference. I also couldn't make the resume deadline because I was traveling. I couldn't access the sample resume, I don't have Linkedin. I don't have a resume ready because I had one job for 36 yrs and I am now retired. Be prepared to submit professional not personal references and have a resume ready. Having 40 yrs experience with cats, fostering cats, able to pass a background check, and 3 years with TrustedHousesitters with 30 excellent reviews is not enough.

I used Meowtel recently for the first time to find a catsitter. I found the website pretty easy to navigate and there was someone available to answer the question I had. The sitter I chose worked out very well also. I will definitely try to secure her again the next time i have to travel.

I recently turned to Meowtel in an emergency to care for my two cats after our usual sitter became ill two days before our scheduled vacation out of the country. Grace responded to my request very quickly and was willing to take on this job at the last minute. I was grateful she was available. She came to the house to meet us and the cats and to learn their routine. It was scary to leave our cats with someone we didn't know, but Grace had a caring presence which made me feel secure that she would take great care of the cats, and she did. Each day she sent me text updates on how the cats were doing and if she had any concerns. She also sent pics of the cats. Our geriatric cat needed medicine 3x/week. Although Grace was not experienced in giving pills using a pill pocket, she was willing to learn and was successful at giving the medicine. Our second cat is only 2 years old and needed play time, which Grace provided. Grace completed all the usual tasks such as feeding, water, and cleaning the litter box. She also took in the mail and packages. I would recommend Grace to anyone who needs a cat sitter.

Adrian was wonderful with our cat Jax. Adrian sent daily updates and pictures of how Jax was doing. He even brought in our mail for the week we were out of town. This was our first experience with Meowtel and it was great.

I've used Meowtel 3 times now. Each visitor has taken such great care of my cats! The website is easy to use, however I do wish there was an app so I didn't have to check my email for notifications, then log back in to the website for communication.

We’ve used Meowtel twice now, with varying levels of satisfaction. The first sitter was sporadic and didn’t end up working out for us, so we found another sitter that is much more professional and the right match for our older cat. I’m giving 4 stars because of the inconsistency between sitters, but also because Meowtel was very proactive in refunding for a day when the original sitter didn’t show up, and helping to find another sitter that fit our needs better. Overall I recommend over other services that focus more on dog sitting.

We’ve had great experiences with Meowtel because our cat hates (an understatement) being boarded elsewhere. I would appreciate if it was easier to book the same cat sitter rather than going back to our old reservations and finding her there. It would also be helpful to have the pet’s info stored online rather than having to complete it each time.

I enjoy the service very much and have great sitter found. My dissatisfaction is even knowing the sitter I wanted she was difficult to pull up, it kept showing me only the "top" sitters in the area - there was no good way to get to other sitter. I eventually did but better search option on mobile needed.
