Do not use Menards. Christian Douglas is an unethical salesman using high pressure tactics at whatever means necessary to get your funds then he disappears. Gave his “cellphone” number then blocked me when the truth came out.

Do not use Menards moving and storage
DO NOT hire menards moving and storage. We hired menards to move us from California to Texas. They seemed trustworthy and had reasonable prices. They also provided storage for our items until we could find a place to live.
Menards lost almost half our items. What we did receive was damaged and all boxes opened and gone through. They charged triple the original estimate. Once move started you could only pay cash. They don't tell you this upfront. Mr. Menard does not return your calls, emails or messages. He had us file a claim with his 2 insurance companies. Both denied. One no longer covered menards. The other menards did not have right paperwork. It was lost. We been dealing with him for 10 months. We are not able to get any money back. This entire experience was a nightmare.

Scam artist and thieves
Scam artist and thieves. I gave them a detailed list of all my items before hand . when the guy showed up at my house he preoceeded to tell me the washing machine cost 200 extra the dryer 300 extra the fridge 300 extra etc etc.. I refused to pay the extra and called the company and he backed down, when they finally brought my stuff to the house every single thing was scratched or dented. I am so furious with these people . The Rep Amy is full of clever spin talk and is completely uselsss. i also specifically asked about insurance before hand and she said yes the contract includes insurance come to find out its 60 cents a cubic feet or pound or something like tht so a fridge u will probally get back 60 dollars for a claim. You cant expect to do people wrong and live happily . Your karma will come.

Menards is a total scam!
Menards is a total scam!! Even after a very bad experience with this company and the movers they used, they screwed me out of my 520 dollar deposit, not one person has reached out to me to try to make it right. Everything about Menards moving and storage is a scam. Do not trust this company with your money or your belongings. If you've been scammed by Menards, report them to the BBB and Attorney General. The more people that file complaints again the sooner the get shut down.

Do not use Menards moving, you will be sorry.
Supposed to pick up on Friday, they changed to Saturday without any communication until I finally got a hold of someone. Then it was 11 to 3 pm window, then they changed to 4 to 6pm windows, then 8:30 pm..very bad service, if you are lucky enough to get service. Menards doesn't assist in helping you, they blame the movers. Menards is an absolute scam.

HORROR STORY -READ- BE WARNED!
HORROR STORY -- READ BE WARNED!!
Regardless of what the salesperson (Richard in our case) tells you, MENARDS IS A BROKER. They don't have trucks or crews like we were told, and under the impression when we contracted with them. "Two Men And a Truck" moving co came to load with a 21 year old leader plus two guys that barely spoke english. They immediately asked for more money saying we had more stuff than contracted (even though we had done several calls, a thorough inventory, AND a video walkthrough with Menards). We agreed to $500 more and shook on it with young crew chief. AFTER everything was on the truck, the crew lead said he made a mistake and it'd be $2100 more! Absolutely not, so the next hour was the phone being passed around between Menards (including elevated up to THE Mr. Menard), Polaris Van Lines (the company that Menards contracted out to, who I guess contracted out to "Two Men"), and the crew lead. The two tatted crew guys became increasingly agitated and all of sudden they blew up and started quickly and roughly unloading everything into the street, grass, and driveway. They drove away at 7pm leaving huge wooden heavy furniture in the street!
Mendards must've chastized Polaris because they called/apologized that night and asked if the cholos could come back, say "they were sorry", and get it done by midnight. No way were we going to hand our stuff over to the angry guys again. Polaris then admitted that if our stuff didn't get on the road that night, it would miss the connecting truck (yes a 4th company involved).
We waited 2 more days before Polaris got another crew to take our stuff, putting us way behind our move, and the final destination delivery was made by Raptor Van Lines, obviously later then originally scheduled.
I have receipts, videos showing the unload, damage due to the unload, and payment records to Menards, Polaris, and Raptor. Menards is not responding to the complaints or damage claim we submitted. A complete bleep-show from beginning to end.
