I had the option of 2 tutors to see which one was the best fit. Paarth was great, he was very kind, supportive, and responsive to questions! I would highly recommend medschoolcoach and Paarth Shah to other students prepping for step 2 ck. Majority of our tutoring sessions were geared towards reviewing and understanding UWorld Qs. He would highlight important concepts that I needed to master.

MedSchool Coach is probably the best…
MedSchool Coach is probably the best decision I made as a medical student. Amidst our busy schedules, sometimes we need a little help planning/setting a study plan or extra lessons on difficult concepts that require multiple reviews to nail down. This was the best compendium to my clinical rotations and worth every penny given my success on shelf exams and Step 2. Would highly recommend to any student struggling or with red flags to help get back on track.

Exceeded all expectations, seriously the best organization I could have picked
I used medschoolcoach for both Step 2 and Step 3 tutoring. From the time I started with them until the time I had no further need for their services, every single person in their organization, from the administrative staff to the tutors themselves were WITHOUT EXCEPTION: VERY friendly, professional, and knowledgeable within their respective domain of responsibility.
I didn't pass Step 2 the first time, and without my tutors, I would not have passed it at all. Because of my bad study practices (which I didn't realize were SO bad until my tutors started helping me correct them), I had to relearn how to make my own study notes, how to go through UWorld questions, how to schedule my study weeks, how to schedule each day, when to take breaks (something I didn't allow myself before, wrongly thinking that it would take away from my study time instead of refresh me and make me more efficient in the end), and so on...
Without my tutors, I was so overwhelmed by what seemed like an impossible task that I would never have gotten to the point on my own where I could feel like it was even possible to get my arms around the volume of material necessary to review/master.
After Step 2, I had more confidence, but Step 3 prep required a slightly different focus, mainly on management, and my Step 3 tutor (a resident) helped me focus in on the things that I needed to know and told me point blank which things I could safely now forget. And he was right! He also helped me properly balance my preparation for the cases with that of the rest of the exam.
In short, this is a first class organization. They don't just take your money and let you fend for yourself. They work with you to create a personalized plan for both how much tutoring you need as well as how to most effectively use your tutoring time. Every single minute was high-yield stuff with no wasted nonsense.
The fact that the sessions are recorded was helpful, too, since I could just write down the time we discussed a particularly tough topic for me so I could just click right to that time when rewatching. In this way, I didn't have to divert my attention from what my tutors were saying to take notes, instead just staying 100% present and absorbing what was being taught, and then reinforcing this by rewatching after the session.
The services may not seem cheap, but after having also done a Kaplan course before my first Step 2 exam, I can tell you that you get SO MUCH MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK with these folks! I am a real MD who is not being paid to write this, btw. I am just a guy who is still riding the high of passing Step 3 so I can move on with my life and never look back!
If you want to succeed and are looking for the right people to help you reach your goals, look no further. Seriously.

Great experience.
It is a great tool to prep for Step 1. It was very helpful that my tutor would go over the wrong answers with me after each NBME test and explain concepts that wasn’t clear to me. It is also a very good psychological support to have from the person who went through the same experience.

Great experience, great people, less stress
My experience with med school coach has been really great and most importantly, stress free. I was initially studying for the MCAT on my own. Personally, I found this to be very stressful as I wasn't sure how I should allocate my time and everyone I talked to had their own opinion on the best approach. When I started with my tutor, we created a schedule for a set curriculum together. This took away any guess work and eased anxiety, I just had to do what I was told by a 100th percentile scorer. The curriculum is straight forward but having someone there to discuss things with is a huge help. Setting up my account and adding hours to it as I went was extremely easy and convenient. All the people I had contact with were fantastic, helpful, and genuine. I would highly recommend this to others that are studying for the test. If it can minimize stress for others like it did for me, I think that at least makes it close to being worth the cost right away.

MSC good for primaries and interviews but less so for secondaries...
MSC was really helpful for primary applications and interviews. They have a lot of experienced individuals who can give you valuable feedback. I found it be less helpful for secondaries due to the quick turnaround time.

Helpful
I came into the cycle later with so many secondaries. I was fortunate enough to have help from MedSchoolCoach because without it I wouldn't be in the position I am today. The secondary editing was thorough and feedback was fruitful. I also used MedSchoolCoach for interview prep and the questions we discussed showed up on the real interviews as well.
