brand new service.
The lanyard is comfortable, it washed easily. I have not had to use the guardian so far.

You should also make it very clear that if button is pushed and no one responds to the operator, that you will contact 911 or someone on the call list. My 85 year Mom was very upset when the operator told her that she had to be within reach of the base unit in order to actually talk to someone if she pushed the button on her pendant. She thought that meant that the unit was essentially useless unless she was within reach of the base unit. Also ,there was NO information about the life of the battery in the pendant and how to find a replacement when it dies. I want to know that information.

I am surprised that the unit was not smaller, particularly in depth. It is too noticeable under a shirt. i.e. any standard golf shirt. The belt clip is poorly designed. It will not stay on any normal sized man's belt? What were you thinking?? Do you have any improvement updates planned??

GPS unit did not work in my mothers house, worked with costumer service who told me we could not rely on a device that works sometimes for me to send it back. Had to pay for postage which I should not have. U received the unit back 6 days ago and are still Holding my 439.95 which needs refunded called to see why it has not been returned and told it may take 30 days which is totally ridiculous as it took u all a matter of minutes to charge me. I want my money back NOW!

I researched several medical alert systems and decided Medical Guardian was the best for me as it provided fall detection and had GPS that would cover me outside of my house. The kit arrived in good time and I charged the unit before I called to activate it. I kept getting the message from the unit that it was unable to connect. The woman I dealt with when I called the number to activate the unit had me do a couple of different things including moving it to a different part of my home that was near a window. Still couldn't connect. So she told me to turn the unit off and leave my house and drive around Baraboo after I turned the unit on again. I went east, south, west and north---still couldn't connect. I drove out to Tower Road near Devil's Lake and proceeded down that road until I saw 5 towers. Still no connection. She then told me the unit must be defective and she would send a new one. The second kit arrive and I charged the new unit on the new charger for a couple of days, then called to activate. Still got the same message---unable to connect. The person that was helping me that time checked with someone else and told me that the unit would only function when I was out and about in Baraboo, not in my home. That defeats the whole purpose for me. If I'm out and about in Baraboo and had an issue or fell someone would see me and call for help. But I live alone and need the coverage in my home and yard. So I returned the second kit using the return label that came in that box and am waiting for Medical Guardian to send me another return label so I can return the first kit. Very frustrating. Now I need to find another company that can provide this service in zip code 53913!

Not sure about it yet. I haven't had to use it yet. I hope it will work if I need it.

There is no reason on earth why you could not ask my mother's height and send an appropriate lanyard. This one goes down to her belly button. I looked at buying a chain that she can wear in the shower but they are so expensive. Can't you send a more appropriate piece for someone who is only 5 feet?

The first day I tried to activate the unit, I was on hold for so very long waiting on a representative that I finally hung up. I attempted to call back and a recording advised to leave my name and number and an activation rep would call back within the hour. We never received a call. A few days later we again attempted to call the activation rep and a tech walked us through the process to get the unit up and running. We tested and it is working fine. Unfortunately, my mother is having an itching issue with the bracelet, and she will not use the unit around her neck. We are still trying to decide if we want to keep the unit by Guardian.
