I liked everything about this, but when I went to order for my mother it said pay for one year and get one month free for a certain amount.($26.00 & change). So I picked this one thinking I would get 13 months for the paid in full at one time price at $26. plus change price, but no the salesman insisted that it was $29.plus change price a month for a year because if I get one month free he divided the yearly(12 mos. cost) by 11 and came up with $29.plus change a month and that is what he recorded as the monthly price. Which I found totally sneaky!! He was supposed to put down the $26.plus price on my contact, said he did, but never did. I truly don't like doing business with people like that. Maybe this is what the company likes to hire, I don't know. I won't recommend this company to anyone because I feel like I was being swindled. Only reason I bought it was because my mother lives alone and needed something quick. When it's time to renew I will be looking for another company. One that will be straight forward. No one likes to feel as if they are being taken advantage of and I'm a pretty savvy shopper. So watch out for the slick salesman on the line!!!

Ordered on 3/9 with 2-day delivery. Delivery is scheduled for 3/14.

The guardian pendent is large and the button is very sensitive and easily set off unintentionaly. Another problem that my father has has is that he can not hear the person from medical guardian talking to him when they contact him over the device.

We got the medical alert and it didn't work for our mom because she had a wireless home phone. They were going to send a wireless set up and 3days later we received the same machine again. We cancelled service because we needed the machine asap and also one with fall detection.

You cannot speak directly into pendant. Weak signal around corners inside condo.

I don't care very much for the arrangement. I have to wear the wrist controller on the same wrist as my watch because of a skin problem. A necklace would be far worse. On one occasion a sound like a cell phone ringing came out of the mobile device though none were in use in this house. I spoke into the mobile but got no response so I pressed the alarm button, got a quick answer and just called it a test. I later called the Customer S & S number and they said it was possible the device picked up somebody's cell phone,To me it is just something extra since I have a cell phone and a regular phone and ready access to 911.

What seemed to start off with great ease became a confusing, frustrating situation. Inconsistant service due to too many cooks in the kitchen. Because we couldn't speak to the same person twice, we had multiple, repetitive conversations that never resolved the issues. We found that there was NO inhouse communications between departments OR employees. The lack of follow through and urgency was present throughout our multiple calls. I only hope that should an emergency situation arise it is handled appropiately as we have been lead to believe it will. Jim

When I ordered the device, I was under the impression every necklace came equipped with a speaker! My Mom is 89 years old! She can not get to the phone quickly! I thought that if she needed to contact me or emergency she could press the button on the necklace and speak to the medical guardian dispatcher! Who would either call me or emergency! Very disappointed!!!
