My 87 year old mom with Parkinson’s has fallen several times and I get immediate notification so I can check on her and help her when needed

My original device became detached from the neck string due to plastic chipping of connection. I called and received an new device in a short time.

The Medical Guardian button was there when my mother fell and it worked as needed. They notified the family members that an emergency was taking place and they notified local 911. The only critisism is that local 911 took a long time for them to get to my mother. She was on the floor over 30 min. Not sure if that is because of their response time or the time it took for the Medical Guardian agents to notify 911.

I live in an area with no cell tower service and needed a system that works with my landline, which MG does. They have a pendant that senses a fall without the person needing to talk to anyone, a critical factor if a person is unconscious from the fall. We've found it's best to test the main unit connected to my landline every couple of weeks for added peace of mind. Excellent phone support for any questions or tech issues.

Our interactions with the company are helpful and they reply promptly. When the device stopped working, the company replaced it without a hassle.

A little trouble when calling getting to the right dep't./person.

The Guardian pendent is easy to use. The magnet clasp attached securely. I wear it out side my top when I am alone and inside my top when with family . If it goes off accidently, a voice tells me how to cancel the call. Having it so accessible gives me a sense of security.

Paramedics were quick to respond when I fell and couldn't get up. It has now been more than 6 months since I've had a fall (PT worked). However, I don't recall the device asking if I need assist (when I did fall). I had to push the call button. Would not help if I fell and was conked out.
