I have several questions that i would like clarification on, I leave callback messages and no is calling me back. I had personal representive, his name was Chris, my calls to him are not returned. I have not been able to get through to customer service. my next point of contact will be the Better Business Bureau. I am not even sure this is a valid business.

I was hopeful to receive the newest Medical Guardian unit which incorporates both GPS and fall detection components. However, we have tried TWO DIFFERENT units neither of which work because they would not take a charge. We are waiting for the third to arrive, but I am concerned about the lack of confidence my mother has in the device at this point. Additionally, wait time to speak with customer service and activation reps were ridiculously long. Very frustrating. Regardless of whether or not device #3 works, I may need to cancel our subscription if my mother's doubt makes her feel insecure with this system.

Unfortunately my salesman never asked me about our cell carrier , AT&T, and the reception in my area. Even though the "map" shows good coverage , it is poor ! In fact, there was NO service on the device. Therefore it was useless in my house. Had to move on to another device that has better reception

Our current plan we have in place is just as good and doesn't cost us anything, so we cancelled Medical guardian.

I still have not gotten this yet, what is the hold up?

after having had the service for several days in nj, it was transferred to our home in florida. we have since had 2 occassions when the button was pushed. both times the chain of events responding to the alert occurred in the wrong order. the first time, no one came over the box, the home phone was not called, and emergency personnel in nj was called instead of florida. despite numerous phone calls and well-over an hour of time resulting in assurance from the service department telling us that the order of events and the ems phone number had been corrected, the second event led to response in the wrong order again. i was then told by emergengy responders that the correction had to be made by the service dept. (the same area that assured me the change had been made the week before). the service department representative then told me she did not have the proper clearance id to be able to make the change and that it would have to wait until her boss came in the following day. what was supposed to give us peace of mind has resulted in frustration and wasted time going around in circles with no one so far fixing the problem. and for this we are paying $45/mo.

I ordered medical alert for my sister who is 80 yrs old, and arranged to have my bank card electronically withdrawn on the 21st of the month but instead the billing dept did it on the 2nd of Dec. instead over drafting my account costing me a $35.00 fee. Which I couldn't get back from the bank, after being assured it would be done on the 21st. This also showed up in the account notes when talking to a representative with medical alert. I advised the rep I was sending back the unit because I couldn't afford this to happen again. I'm still trying to get my refund of fees, after being advised from another rep in billing I would have a refund on part by 1/9/15 but still haven't received anything. I called the company today 3 times trying to get through to find out about my refunds, unsuccessfully, on 1/12/15, nothing in my account again.

Bad experience. First the unit arrived a week after sales indicated, meaning that I was no longer in town to help my mom set it up. Second, my sister is now helping and is unable to activate. Phone consultation is not helping. Wait times are quite lengthy as expected with any firm where orders are placed via web. You asked.
