I have the mini device about 5 weeks. I pay extra for fall detection and it doesn’t work. I tested it following the directions on their own YouTube video. Today, I lost my device. There is a tracker, which says my device is here at home, but I have not been home all afternoon. It indicates the tracking is by heartbeat, but I don't have it on! Also, the tracking indicates 2 places this afternoon where I was supposedly but I was actually miles away from! I tried to contact them but they have no customer service after 8pm. So, I hope I won’t have an emergency tonight. I paid for a whole year in advance. Don’t buy from these people. I regret it.

They overcharged and are dragging their feet on a refund. Called multiple times and told someone would call since it is escalated and no one ever does

Received medical guardian equipment in mail today. We have French doorknobs on our doors which does not work with the lock box provided. Once the box was secured to the doorknob it was easy to slide the box off. Anybody could just walk away with the box. Called customer service and after waiting seven minutes on hold was informed that there was no other option!!!!! There should be another option where the box could be secured to the top of the door like a Christmas wreath. Not a happy camper! Would be great if management could correct this problem.

Years ago I let my neighbor purchase an alert device not knowing it was a subscription service which was never known to me or her. The device was never activated nor used abd returned to them a month later. Today several years later they attempted to use my American Express to collect this charge which I understand is illegal.

The pendant with the fall protection is way too sensitive. I wear the pendent around my neck and the slightest object that rubs against the fob, boom, the alarm goes off. I experience this sometimes twice a day. I find this very annoying.

We get a lot of calls from Medical Guardian saying they got an alarm that my mom has fallen when nothing has happened. It's always an automated call. It's never a real person. The call always says we could not get a response from your mom and emergency services are on the way. Emergency services have never come or called so either Medical Guardian is not calling them or they are not responding. I'm guessing the earlier. This has happened probably 20 times in a year.

Too sensitive to bumps. In airplane with rough landing in Florida. My arm must have bumped armrest. Could not hear operator with jet noise and and reverse thrust. Med Alert called 911, my son in NJ,and my daughter who didn't answer the call. An ambulance, 2 police cars and a fire truck showeed up at our empty condo s

I was in the process of researching medical alert companies after my father in law suffered a stroke. I came across Medical Guardian & had to enter name, phone & email to get a brochure. I expected that I would be put on a call list but they took it to a new level. I've had almost 40 calls in 4 days, including the weekend, starting at 9:00 am until 9:00 pm with messages. I had to call 5 times to reach a live person. Went strictly by the prompts to reach "general questions". The lady was polite when I asked her to remove my phone from their list. She said I had reached the wrong department but she would remove me. I then politely asked her to take a note & forward to her marketing group in regards to the outrageous number of calls. She huffed & hung up on me! Now Medical Guardian, people know how to research & make decisions without being bombarded by these calls, especially when people are caring for an elderly parent whose just had a stroke. I hadn't made a decision yet & based on the brochure you were a front runner. "Were" is the key word because your customer service lady has made sure that you are off of the list as a potential company.
