I am not sure I made the right choice,the representative was very nice,and answered all my questions,I just was not confident that I asked all the right questions.This is a life saving device and I need more reassurance that it will work when and if I ever need it.I am on a very limited income and I want to be protected by having a device,but it puts me in a crunch being able to afford it.

Although I was initially disappointed in the lack of communication after placing an order for my mother, I found an email from Medical Guardian in my junk folder that was days old...In activating the system the staff was very helpful and all tested well. Thankfully there is is no need to use it, but my family has piece of mind that mom can press the button if any situation arises while she is alone.

The cord is ugly. Should be easy to temporarily change out with a plain black cord. (or even a variety of cords, including a short cord with a clip to attach to a belt loop or button hole (etc), allowing the call button to hang free ---or slip into a pocket. I wonder if, with time, the unattractive grey/white call button will become dingy. A black one might be easier to keep clean. Or a two-tone metal one, which would not clash most clothing any outfit. I saw an ad for a waterproof call button. Why is this one only slightly water resistant. It should, like my Timex lighted watch, be water-resistant enough to be in 5 ft of water while I swim I'm never 100% sure that the call button is operative. Sometimes it flashes green, sporadically, & sometimes not. If I lean against anything, the call button activates. Should be recessed to avoid that occurrence. I dropped it & it did not activate. Ergo, if I fall (which is similar to a drop) & I'm knocked out, how can I be assured that it will automatically activate?

Feel free to contact one of our helpful representatives at 1-800-313-1191, and they will walk you through how to change the attachment from a lanyard to a belt clip. Secondly, after reviewing your account it looks like you opted for the Premium Guardian without Fall Detection. easy to sign up and activate with medical guardian. Did a lot of research with many medical alert devices, chose medical guardian, one month in no problems thus far. Parent feels safer with 24/7 medical alert at hand if needed.

Medical Guardian was fine but it is not working out for my mom. My mom lost her necklace on day 2 after installation. We will be cancelling the service.

Only complaint / Suggestion I have is the clip on the belt is not long enough or strong enough. It had come lose 3-4 times which could have a been a disaster had I nerded it at that time.

The initial installation would not work because my phone provider was not compatible with the unit. This resulted in a receiving a new model and returning the old one. It would more efficient if Medical Guardian knew ahead of installation which phone providers will work with the system. Otherwise all went well
