BEWARE! BEWARE! They are misleading with easy connection to service! I purchased th MGMini based on the website description of services it provided and the ease of connecting to their portal. Upon receiving the device and charging it, I downloaded the app and tried to register the device as required but was unable due to message unable to connect to portal! I called the technical support line and was informed that a technician would have to attempt a manual connection, to see if this was a DUD or other issues! I was informed that this would take between 1 to 3 business days! When I was purchasing this device through their 1800 number, I wasn't informed that it could take 1 to 3 business days to connect to their services! Why buy a product that is to provide life line connection if you cannot use it right away! I have had this device 3 days already and still not able to connect to them!

This company is on the level of predatory lending. My mother has been deceased for over a year and they won’t stop trying to bill me. I’ve had numerous calls with their billing department and was told they would take care of it. They won’t stop trying to bill. Even if the equipment was lost, then do a one time invoice for the equipment. No they want to try to keep stringing it out. I would caution anyone who is even considering this company. I never write comments but people need to be aware.

The device we got my mom was supposed to sense her falling. When she would take it off to shower it would go off but the two times she actually fell it didn't.

I have a dispute regarding cancellation of service. I canceled by phone and was told I could resume service in 3 months if I so chose. I didn’t realize that unless I signed a letter of cancellation that in 3 months they would resume charging me for services. Trying to resolve this is like hitting a stone wall. I’m very disappointed with Medical Guardian and I would not recommend them to anyone.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEADACHE. THIS IS A FRAUD COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGHT WITH YOUR BANK TO GT IT BACK. WE ORDERED THIS SERVICE THEY SENT THE PRODUCT AND CHARGED ADDITONAL 25.00 FOR OVERNIGHT WHICH DID NOT ARRIVE. . THEN IT ARRIVED WITHOUT A LOCK BOX. WE DID NOT WANT TO WAIT ANY LONGER SO WE CALLED AND THEY SENT A RETURN LABEL, SO FAR NO REFUND . I HAVE CONTACTED MY BANK TO STOP PAYMENT WHIHC THE YWILL. KEEP YOUR MONEY GO EKLSEWHERE

We signed up with this company for my dad after my mom passed away. Luckily he never needed to use it. when he passed in May, I informed the company. They sent me a cancellation letter to sign which I did. I have now sent the letter 5 times, have confirmation of cancellation but they are still charging us. 5 months of dealing with this garbage and they are still charging. Save your sanity and go with any other company

I purchased Medical Guardian for my daughter, who was having health issues. By the time it was received she was better, so we never opened the box, and never signed the service agreement. I called and cancelled the service, but unfortunately it was a day past the 14 day return policy, so they would not refund anything. MG continued to charge my card for the service, and I didn't notice for three months. I contested the charge, and KeyBank said MG provided enough evidence that they wouldn't reverse the charges. I had to cancel my debit card to stop the payments! Six months later, I am getting certified letters saying that we owe $300, and they are turning us over to collections! Stay away from Medical Guardian! Their reviews are terrible, except on their website. ;)

Deceptive company. My mother purchased a unit from Costco. The company told her the Costco equipment wouldn’t work and replaced it with a model that she apparently couldn’t own even though she had made a purchase. The company kept charging rental fees to her account after she moved and disconnected the receiver according to their instructions. They kept billing her account after they were informed she passed months later even though it was closed by the bank. I found the button device in her things and will send it back but i know the company uses bait and switch business practices. Good luck when trying to cancel folks!
