I cxld my Mother in laws Medical Guardian service on August 1st over the phone as she had to enter a nursing home and no longer needed the service. I was told in order to cxl I needed to send back the equipment, which I did on August 21, 2023. On December 12th we lost our Mom. I was reviewing her checking account and was upset to see that in August 2023 Medical Guardian took over $400 out without my permission as I am on the account #3401503(davis) I called on December 18th and was told they never received their equipment. Thankfully I saved the USPS tracking info. The rep checked and said they DID RECEIVE the equipment and would issue a credit on her account. Since her account is closed they said they would send a refund check. Since I still haven't received a check I called back took several tries and finally after pressing the button "make a payment " did I get to a rep. She told me a refund check was sent on December 21st. Today January 4, 2024 STILL NO CHECK. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY STOLE MONEY AND HAVEN'T GIVEN IT BACK !!!!

Not happy right now at all. Try to test, they can't hear us, they didn't call the number they were supposed to to make sure ok, instead they called daughter's cell # and it was dead. Sent paramedics, had to call 911 to stop them from coming since I could NOT get anyone on the phone with Medical Guardian. I have tried calling numerous times to troubleshoot what the problem is with the device and I've been on hold 2 times today for over 20 minutes both times. Everytime they call me to update our info they are selling something and my bill continues to rise.

I purchased this so emergency services would be called in case they were needed. All things work fine, they answer the phone and are kind but they can't seem to find my location. They think I am 200+ miles away from where I am, the GPS shows me at home when I am at the mall, the GPS shows me at home when I am at the local hospital. So not reliable. When travelling in a car on a well populated interstate, it thinks I am 200 miles away in my living room. What happens if I need help and cannot talk? Who takes responsibility for sending crews to the wrong place and possibly costing me my life.

Cancelled our service for mother, who passed away. Sent them a copy of death certificate and replied via their mail request to cancel the account July of 2023..They continue to bill us. A shame we have to cancel our credit card since they refuse to honor their commitment.

We had two of this product a couple of years. The first one (I don't remember the model name & #) didn't work. So we were going to cancel, but then a slick sales person talked us into getting another one, a replacement, a 4TE. The second one didn't work either. We discovered this when it was dropped by accident on the floor. We thought we'd get a call from the Medical Guardian service, but no. Then we dropped it on purpose, a few times, just to test it. Nope, no call. What an expensive piece of junk. Then when I called to cancel the $56.95/month AUTOMATIC DEDUCTIONS for their "service," they said they would only cancel it upon receipt of all parts of the device, and that we should make sure to have a tracking number (in other words, we had to pay for Priority Mail, about $10). What a hassle! What a ripoff. I would give it a zero if I could. What amazes me even more is that so many organizations, like AARP, rate this so highly. Now I don't trust any of those organizations.

I called this company to look into a medical alert system for my sister. My sister passed away so there was no need for a device. The telephone sales agent calls me sometimes 5 times per day, leaving messages although I have told her NOT to call anymore. There is NO NEED for a device She is harassing me! And, she won't stop. Not good marketing and not a good company! Don't do business with this company. They have "sick" agents who think it is fun to harass grieving people.

They are running a good scam. We were told the system would definitely work in our area. It never worked. You would press the button and it said, can't connect, please call 911. Returned equipment and still being charged. Refused to give a refund. Beware and stay away from Medical Guardian.

DO NOT USE.. These people sold an email address that I used to sign up with, and it is currently bombarded with dozens of emails for various medical services every day, ranging from balding to menopause, to penis enlargement. What is most annoying as they think they are sending these to my 85-year-old mom. . Do not trust these people with your personal data
