When calling to activate the unit it took way too long for a customer service to pick up. It took a good 15 minutes for me to be on hold. Too long in my opinion. The unit I ordered classic guardian arrived with a missing wrist-let pendant and it came with two pendants? Questionable?The customers service person said they will send the wrist-let pendant and for me to return the other pendant. All in all its okay.

My wife and i are still acclimatizing to our Medical Guardian in our split-level home on one acre. We have yet to test the upstairs bathrooms to hear responses and our replies. We still feel the speaker, mike in hand (as implied in a famous commercial) would be more satisfactory (tho, for two, very expensive). But your system for two may do the basic job we need.

Did my research and chose Medical Guardian because of the reviews from customers and "so called" industry experts (now I think that these are paid reviews). Well signing up and paying was the easy part, getting what was promised is another. Lots of misspellings and missed shipped dates. Hoping that the contract date for system start is extended because we lost a month going through MG's mistakes and late shipments. Still have not received the lock box as promised. When I called back to explain the situation, no real remedy offered, guess I'll have to call Main Office and file my complaints. If you go with MG, go over everything 3 or 4 times to get it all correct.

I ordered the system on-line. It arrived quickly, earlier than expected. I did need to call Medical Guardian for assistance getting the system installed. There was no instruction manual shipped with the system. I was told that they are working on a new brochure with operating instructions but three weeks later I have received nothing. Also, with less than l month of use there has been a system malfunction. I have been informed that a new system is being shipped but have not received it. Final complaint, the wrist strap sent was a sloppy velcro strap that probably wraps the wrist 2-3 times. I was told that we can attach the button to a watch band strap. I spent much time researching lifelife systems before making my decision to go with Medical Guardian. I certainly hope that they come through.

No instructions whatsoever came with the wristband device. We did not know if the battery was already loaded, how to use it, etc. We found that it was already activated by pressing the button, whereupon the monitoring service called. There was no self-help information on the website either. Despite these frustrations, they were very courteous and helpful on the phone when we called to activate the service, though it was not clear why the activation step was necessary. Again, better printed instructions would be appreciated.

Some how I miss this during my first enterview, unless you carry the box with the speaker on it you can't talk to the med-tech & the range on the braclet & madalions is very limited to say a couple of hundred feet, I need something that has lots more range & when you push the buttons for help it would be important to be able to speak to the med tech toi tell them where you are...

We purchased the unit for our mom and while she has not had to use it yet, we are glad to have it in place. However, a month later I am still getting calls from the sales staff as if iI have not purchased their system. In fact, when I initially inquired about the system online ( don't do this) I got multiple calls from Medical Guardian salespeople. Very annoying. They should at least inform their independent sales people about new, paid customers.
