I’ve had Maven for two weeks now. Today my pup woke up real sluggish and wouldn’t eat her probiotic. I couldn’t understand why she loves eating her probiotic. I immediately went to the Maven app and it showed me that she had a lot of interruptions during her rest period. That made me feel a lot better because now I’m expecting her to laid back and sleeping more during this day. Had I not had Maven I would be worried sick. Go get your pet a Maven you both deserve it

My 12 year old poodle chihuahua mix was diagnosed with a heart murmur and stage B2 mitral valve disease in September. I’ve been worried sick about him for months even though he’s been on Pimobendan (Vetmedin) and been to several vet visits, including the ER. I would always worry when he looked like he was breathing with significant effort using his abdominal muscles and immediately rush him off to the hospital. Now with his doctors direction and his Maven tracker, I can see when he’s within a safe resting respiratory rate or when he’s creeping into unsafe territory and can make a better judgment call about what’s needed in the moment. I’ve barely slept for the last 2 months because I’ve been worried about his breathing, but Maven allows me to monitor his health over time and give me peace of mind. Thank you for this invention!

I really have enjoyed my experience with Maven. It has helped me get more insight to my dogs health and helps me keep track of the important things and even the minor things before they become major. I am thankful for this product and tell everyone about it. Thank you Maven!

I ordered this product two days before I had to take my dog to the ER with what seemed to be pneumonia. I was concerned at the time because she seemed slightly off but not enough that I believed she needed an ER visit. However, after receiving her dose of just in case meds, she didn’t improve and so off we went to the vet as she has an enlarged heart and a stage 4/6 heart murmur. Having the collar gives me peace of mind in being able to monitor her breathing and heart rate. I did have issues with setup and having to wait for an email response is a little frustrating but they did get back to me (I had solved the issue on my own by then). As a pet parent and dog trainer, I do recommend this product to anyone with pets that are anxious or have any health issues as a great preventative way to monitor their pets health.

Maven provides a great product! Their customer service is excellent as well. Everything is working perfectly with both of the collar sensors and the sensors are small enough to fit my cats comfortably, using the collars they already wear.

The only reason I rated the product a 4 instead of a 5 is, because, it is still so new and has some minor quirks to work out. That being said, the product team is very responsive to feedback, and I've already seen a lot of great improvements in the month or so since I've gotten the collar.

I bought the Maven sensor for my beloved dog, George. George has idiopathic epilepsy and I looked for years for something that would track his sleep, heart rate, and breathing and I finally found Maven about five months ago. I wanted to be able to see the days leading up to the seizures to try and identify any abnormalities to better predict when to expect a seizure is coming. Luckily, no seizures yet but it did alert me to increased ear scratching and I was able to get George in immediately to treat an ear infection which is awesome. I liked it so much that I got one for his brother Moose (littermates) and that also helps me gauge how "normal" George is based on Moose's daily behavior. I love seeing their daily exercise, heart rate, respiratory rates, drinking behavior, and even scratching/head shakes. It is a small sensor that easily fits on a collar and does not disturb either of my boys. Recharging is fast and easy and the charge last about two weeks. They did take awhile to receive but that is because the company is not US based and they were totally worth the wait. They have extremely responsive and helpful customer service and I wish them the best success. This is a lifesaver for pets that have medical issues (George) and fun for pets that don't (Moose).
