THE MINUTE BONVOY TOOK OVER MARRIOTT, IT WENT DOWNHILL VERY FAST. THEY WONT BE AROUND LONG NOW. I AM GOLD ELITE DOWNGRADED FROM TITANIUM ELITE BC OF CO-VID. THEY TREAT ME LIKE CRAP...ALWAYS BOOKED FULL(LIES) TO KEEP MY EARNED UPGRADES FROM ME. IT MAKES ENSE FOR ME TO GO BACK TO HILTON AND HYATT.

Terrible terrible processes and customer service. So much for an elite service. Can’t wait to change to Amex or some other credit card benefit platform. Truly terrible. Try to transfer points = doesn’t work. Try to cancel a duplicate account = doesn’t work. Trying to correct email, they try to verify your identity by email the same address that needs correcting. The telephone staff try to help bless them but don’t seem sure what to do either. Sigh

I have been a long time member of Marriot. Since they changed to MARRIOTBONVOY>COM This NEW company. IS NOT VERY GOOD. Many errors Will not help retired VETS. Courtyard WILL>COURTYARD IS GREAT>LOVE THEM,great to stay and deal with. MARRIOTBONVOY makes MANY MISTAKES AND NO HELP or DISCOUNT for RETIRED VETS>>>>

I stayed 3 weeks at a upper end courtyard marriott and only accumulated enough for 1 night. I stay for months on contract as an independent medical provider and will not use marriott again. There are much better hotel rewards available.

Warning this hotel company uses offshore booking agents who take and scam your credit card details. I lost over $500 and Marriott Bonvoy couldn't give a damn. Do not acknowledge scam or their non-existent security measures. Refuse to provide the recording of my booking that proves them fraudulent. Absolute criminals.

Marriott Spring hill suites has become my favorite brand when selecting hotels. I love their properties and am never disappointed when I choose to stay with them.

I was supposed to have two free nights. This is different from using points. Needless to say this resulted from having spent a substantial amount of money. I was told I could use them for a recent trip to Washington, D.C. that I had already booked if need be (the nights were expiring). Upon arrival I was told I was not able to use them. The Manager, to his credit, spent time trying to figure out why. The result was worse. Apparently there is a quota. The hotel, however, was not sold out. So even though I essentially paid for these "free" nights and rooms were available, I was told there nothing they can do. Of course they already had my credit card. This is just plain wrong.

I recently booked 3 days at Springhill Suites in Huntersville, NC. It was an unrefundable rate. My whole family came down with Covid so I called the hotel for a refund or at least a credit, under the circumstances. Surely they did not want us to check-in while sick with Covid! They only gave a refund for 2 of the 3 nights. We’ve been Marriott clients for many years and are terribly disappointed. It’s really not about the $150, but the principle. We’ve reached out to “customer care” but they were not able to help. That was a poor business decision on their part. From now we will be switching to Hilton.
