As a very longtime Bonvoy Titanium Lifetime member, I discovered a few weeks ago that if I’m booking two hotel rooms using my Bonvoy account for myself and my daughter and son-in-law, and the hotel stay dates are not on the exact same check in and check out dates, never book multiple Bonvoy hotels as you will NOT get points for both reservations. Instead book one Bonvoy hotel and one other different hotel brand,such as Hilton Honors, close by, so that you will earn points for both stays albeit with two different loyalty brands. Hilton Honors is as good as or actually much better now than Bonvoy.

I am very disappointed in Marriott Bonvoy. I am a “Lifetime Titanium Elite” member. However, they refused to give me grace and extend my free night four days. We then chose to use it by staying in the Fairfield on Chincoteague Island on April 10th. The hotel was virtually empty but I was not upgraded. Instead, I was given a room with no balcony and a view of the swamp. What is the value to being a “Lifetime Titanium Elite” member? Craig Larson

My card was charged 159.75 three times a total of 479.25. I didn’t authorize this transaction nor did I stay at that location. I have been back n forth with them since March 21st and still the issue is unresolved. I received an email from Melina Cox stating a refund will be issued. I have yet to receive a refund. I called to inquire about the email and have been giving the run around . This is very frustrating and unethical. I’m not sure what the issue is in resolving the issue. The branch location was very rude and unhelpful in helping me resolve the issue. I do not recommend this hotel.

Awful company. Awful customer service. They do not care about their customers. Arrived at AC Hotel in New Orleans with a booking. Told I don’t have a room and was left to find alternative accommodation for the night. Absolutely disgusting. When you contact customer services they just fob you off. Will never stay at one of their hotels every again

They make it as difficult as they possibly can to cancel your reservation. There is no way possible to do it on their website and they make you sit on hold for 20 mins just to talk to customer service. They agent even admitted to me that they do that because they don't want you to cancel. That's a great way to lose customers!

When my wife, son, grandma and I arrived at the Springhill Suites at 11 pm the clerk said the room was on the 5th floor and the elevator was broken. I told them grandma cannot walk up stairs The clerk said she could give us two single rooms on the first floor instead but would have to charge us for the second room. I have platinum Elite status and called Marriott Bonvoy, but they said they had no authority to do anything, could only open up a case to see what eventually happens, and could not assist us tonight. I recall the days when Marriott would call the hotel or put you up in a different hotel, but those days are long gone. Marriott Bonvoy left us stranded late at night.

If I could give Marriott Hotels and their Bonvoy program less than 1 star I definitely would. Their program is a complete disaster and dishonest. I filed a case about our recent horrible stay at The Marriott in Albuquerque NM where we had to sleep without any AC, my granddaughters were so hot even the wet cold towels could not keep us cool enough, it was unbearable, I reported it to front desk and to Marriott Bonvoy they didn't care, although they offered 10,000 points that's not even enough to book a one night stay at the cheapest Marriott! I will NEVER EVER stay at another Marriott.

Writing them is worthless, take many days to reply if they even reply at all It is very very clean you never read my reply; clean message we Don't Care about you and your misfortunes at Marriott just care about $$$$$ Even tried to contact the VP with multiple email addresses including the one from the call center , ALL REPLIED NO DELIVERABLE Jennifer McLennan-Brown, Bethesda , MD Vice President, Customer Engagement Center (CEC) Workforce Optimization and Performance Management at Marriott International.
