If I could give them negative stars I would! Terrible customer service. They expect clients to pay for shipping for them to repair a chair that was defective. The price for shipping 1 way is more than what was paid for the chair. Why can't agree to pay for us to get it repaired instead of insisting that we send back the chair without taking it apart costing more the $500 to ship in a large box.

Chair arrived broken. The company made it very difficult to return it. It took multiple emails and arguments, and the return process with fitting it in a box was impossible. Ended up paying almost a $100 to return it. Never use them again.

I was mislead by their website advertising an implied association with Herman Miller. The company not only is not an authorized reseller of Herman Miller but has predatory marketing practices and worst customer service ever experienced. Their “open box” products are in fact used, damaged products and not honoring the return policy as stated on their website. Buyer Beware! Do not engage in business with them, misleading advertising, bad products worst customer service. After the horrible experience I only wonder how companies like this is still in business. Stay away ! Updated: Madison Seating is actively trying to take down such reviews as they do on all platforms based on disputes that they need more information. I trust TrustPilot doesn’t engage in such practices.

Absolute disaster Customer Service. Ordered a chair from their website. Chair was delivered damaged. Was damaged during transit. Company is refusing to send replacement or a return label. I can't believe a company like this is still in business in 2024. Don't be fooled with any of the positive reviews. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

Bought a $1,000 Herman Miller chair from Madison Seating (madisonseating.com) via their eBay store. It worked for a couple months but only after a couple months, the armrest broke. The only solution provided by Madison was to ship the chair back to them (packaged and funded by me), see if they could repair it, then I would need to fund the return shipment (again) for another $115. All-in-all, about a 200-300 ordeal to fix a chair that cost me 1,000 to begin with. And asking customers to ship a chair that can't be disassembled lacks serious judgement by this company. Buy direct from Herman Miller (or whoever they are reselling), do not take this budget route. It was sold as 'Open Box' but it is clearly refurbished. It comes with a different, cheap seat cover material, and is clearly a lesser version of an actual Herman Miller Chair (proven by the fact that it broke from simply using the arm rest). Bad products. Bad service. Don't make the same mistake I made.

I bought a Steelcase Leap v2 from Madison Seating last week. When it arrived I assembled it and put it in my office to use the next day for work. It is so uncomfortable compared to a 5 year old RETAIL version of the Steelcase leap v2 that my girlfriend owns. The refurbishment was very poorly done, chair wobbles, lumbar is bad, cushions are hard, material is cheap and rough. The lumbar support is so intense and using the adjustment just makes it worse (I compared the lumbar support to the exact same chair model my girlfriend has). You can visibly see the lumbar support pushing on the back rest and distorting it. The fabric is very rough and the cushions are no where near as comfortable as the RETAIL version of the chair. I reached out to Madison Seating customer service and after a few canned responses they finally said "Please return the chair and find another vendor to furnish your office chair needs."

Do not buy anything from here. Purchased Herman miller chair, it came spray painted, worn wheels, flaking black stuff and wobbly. This is unacceptable. I tried to return chair and shipping was going to cost me close to $100. They told me I would have to pay for shipping prices. Chairs were advertised as "Open box" when they are clearly HEAVILY USED. Was unable to dispute with credit card company. DO NOT BUY.

Terrible I cancelled within 20 minutes of an order they charged me 5% cancel fee. W T F you never even shipped the product. They are huge scammers search reddit for the name of this company.
