I got a pair of Steelcase Leap v2 chairs for my home office/studio for a deeply discounted price. Chairs were marked "open box" but appeared new. The chairs arrived one day before they estimated they would (on a Sunday). One was damaged in transit (this can happen!), but they replaced it.

The customer service at Madison Seating is tops. We received an order for 6 chairs and all arrived intact and undamaged except 1 chair that could not be assembled due to a defect. Customer service corrected the problem by sending a replacement chair at no cost. There's a reason we've made multiple purchases from Madison Seating - customer service.

Had been searching for a new office chair for a while, and my husband found the humanscale freedom task chair, good for us short people (I'm 5'4" and most chairs are uncomfortable). I then found a great price at Madison seating. The chair arrived in less than a week from the order date - box was not in great condition, and for some reason it had a piece of Staples tape. Nonetheless, in less than 5 minutes, the chair was assembled. I got the nice grey version, and I sat to try it out. Unfortunately there were a few defects, missing screws, and the lever didn't work to allow the seat height to adjust - so my dream of sitting comfortably at my desk for what has become 15 hour days during COVID was gone. It was a Sunday - called customer service and they understandably allowed me to leave a message. Monday - no return call, but the number then said to send an email. Email was sent, and again on Tuesday, with photos and an explanation. Someone got back to me the same day and offered a great resolution. I am very happy with the experience and look forward to receiving a replacement. Finally a company that believes in their guarantee.

Ordered a HumanScale chair and, as other people said, the price seemed too good to be true. But a friend I trust has made many purchases from this site so I gave it a try. After I placed my order I had a question — Madison Seating got back to me within 24 hours which was good. When I received the chair (in about 10 days, which was within their 10 - 15 days shipping standard), it had a broken part. I contacted them immediately and again they responded within 24 hours. I took off a star because of the broken part and also becuase their web site and packing slip say to call during customer service hours but the recording on the 800 number says to contact them via email, so that was frustrating. But overall pleased with their response time and how they said they would remedy the situation.

MadisonSeating customer service responded quickly to my inquiry to ensure I was satisfied with their product. Overall I believe the chair will perform well over extended periods of usage, compared to cheaper options. The initial order took 45 days to receive this chair after ordering. Also worth noting, these open box chairs are re-upholstered with a different fabric and foam than the OEM product.

Overall pleased with my experience. The quality of the chairs in exceptional. I would prefer customer service by phone (during COVID-19), but email was acceptable.

Ordered a Steelcase Leap V2. The chair unfortunately started creaking and became loose/wiggly after some use. I just had to send a video of the problem and they sent me a new chair. Impressed by the very quick and good customer service.
