NOT As Advertised! Chair is not reconditioned! Cushion on the seat is completely flat and you can feel every support in the base. Cannot even sit in the chair for more than an hour without it causing pain to my back and butt. Contacted them and they state it was an open box item. If I want to return I need to pay for shipping which is more than the price of the chair.

Unfortunately, this was my worst experience in 20 years of buying online. I bought an expensive office chair label as "New / Open box". It arrived with two issues: (1) it was damaged before shipping and (2) it got additional damages in shipping because of insufficient packaging. Madison Seating didn't accept responsibility for either of these issues, but offered a "touch up kit" that would do little to nothing. A return for refund would cost ~$100 in restocking fees. I wish nobody else would experience this – I recommend nobody to ever buy from Madison seating.

Do not buy from this company. They are extremely unresponsive and terrible and non existence customer service. The people are used to being fussed at and have their canned responses to gaslight you. My chair came in defective and wouldnt go together. I asked for a simple phone conversation and you would have thought I asked for pulling teeth. You will see in a response that they will say I was pushy and they indeed responded. Not everyone can send pictures or videos due to working for a company that doesnt allow that for security reasons. Madison doesnt have the ability to offer any solutions outside their canned responses and policy. Overall this is a negative company and noone should buy from directly from them without having a way to hold them accountable for their inability to think out of the box and do what it is necessary to keep their customers. Please continue to send updates if you have used this company to the BBB and maybe the company will listen and not be so NON customer focused

Initially I had a problem with the chair that arrived, but Madison Seating customer service gladly offered a solution and an apology. Would purchase again Update: the second chair they sent me is just as crappy as the first.

Do not waste your money. The chair is bought is not an authentic Herman Miller and I am positive it is used. It's going to cost more to ship it back than I paid for the useless chair. That's right, you can return it, but you foot the bill. It's a scam....you're not getting authentic goods.

Buyers beware. If you receive your order with damaged, or missing parts, they will not honor it. They ship with FedEx, so if they abuse the shipment, they will not honor any replacement as well. The savings you receive is not worth the headache of dealing with them. Their customer service is little to none regardless of what they advertise.

BEWARE and read the fine print. I ordered an Aeron Chair and it came without the tilt back mechanism. When I advised the company this is what they replied: Our Herman Miller Aeron chairs are Open Box Specials and the forward tilt is not a standard feature for this Clearance sale item. We do not advertise for this function. They are misleading customers by labeling their products as "New-Open Box" when, in reality, they are selling used, defective, and poor-quality chairs under this description. Their customer service is unhelpful, and resolving issues with them is nearly impossible. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this deceptive seller! It was a horrible shopping experience.
