This place is HORRIBLE! I ordered a new Herman Miller Chair for $690. The chair came used and worn. I requested a refund. They didn't want to accept a refund for the chair and said it was an "open box" sale which is why the price was "only" $690. The website made it look like a BRAND NEW chair. No where on the site did it say "used" "open box" or anything like that. I called BS on the deal and said I was going to leave feedback regarding this purchase. They told me to file a complaint with their lawyer. Finally I got them to accept the return, however it cost me $160 to ship the product back to them and then they charged me for original shipping and a restocking fee. I ended up getting back from them $540. After my shipping charges this entire BS fiasco cost me $310 for NOTHING! BUYER BEWARE!! THESE GUYS SELL CRAP AND TRY TO SLIP IN UNDER THE RADAR!!! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THESE GUYS, THE PRICE IS NOT WORTH IT.

My experience with this company over my Herman Miller Aeron chair has been extremely disappointing. I have had to ship it to/from them twice, not including the original delivery of the chair. The first time they "fixed it," it came back to me worse than I sent it off to them. It was unusable. I was so upset, I just pushed the chair into a corner in a conference room and let it sit for two years because I have been very sick for past two years and just could not muster energy to send chair back. When I recently got the energy back to send the chair to Madison Seating again, because chair has a 10 year warranty, I had to send them the whole chair so they could look it over. Sending the chair back, due to its weight, cost me $295.00. $295.00 is about 1/3 the value of the chair. I called customer service to see if they would ship it back at their expense because it was not fixed correctly the first time and they flatly and rudely said no. I just sent them my billing info and they will be billing me $75.00 to ship chair back to me. I feel like the chair has become a money pit and that the representatives in their customer service department would be better employed working for an insurance company who only says no. No empathy, no respect, and contempt for customer are my experience with Madison Sating.

Please avoid at all cost. We purchased a chair which had a faulty part. They agreed to send a replacement part. That took 2 months. Once the part arrived it was the wrong part, I sent pics and they "determined" it was the correct part and I guess we were too inept to install it. So they offered to allow us to send the whole chair back at our own expense. I refused and agreed to send back the chair rim (the faulty part) and mesh for them to install and send it back (at our expense). I sent back the broken chair rim and the replacement chair rim along with the original mesh for installation and when I received it back the mesh was not installed in the new chair rim but an old USED part which matched the original rim....SO THEY INFACT DID SEND US THE WRONG REPLACEMENT PART AFTER ALL! So we wasted a ton of money sending back the item and providing a prepaid shipping label for them to return the "repaired" item back to us. Asked to be contacted by a manager and was told NO

In today's day and age you do not send items to anyone without a return address on your label. You most certainly do not send them a flexible grey envelope that feels as if there are wires attached to a mysterious object. Because when that happens, the BOMB SQUAD shows up. What is this company thinking? How hard is it to put a return label on a heavy duty grey flexible envelope? How much did it cost the Police Department in time, energy and money because some moron couldn't write a name on a package. Customer service said, "We will reevaluate our current protocol?" How about... "WE WILL MAKE SURE THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!" IDIOTS

Intentionally misleading. We ordered 35 office chairs only half were delivered. The other half mysteriously vanished. They took the order knowing they could not fulfill it in its entirety and made returning the chairs that were already delivered extremely difficult, and just refunded us for the chairs they did not supply. This meant I needed to find another vender and put me 60 days behind. Customer service would not speak to me on the phone, the chairs we did receive broke frequently, and the experience after the purchase was horrible. If you are looking for a bulk order, avoid this vendor. Easily the worst experience I've had working with an office supply vendor.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY...BE WARNED! I purchased an Aeron chair in January and had no issues. I purchased another Aeron chair in April, delivered May 4th and the left arm will not stay in place and falls down constantly. I contacted Madison Seating and was told that the chair needs minor adjusting and to take the back off to adjust. I advised that I shouldn't have to further adjust the chair beyond assembly and would like to exchange the chair. The representative Matthew became extremely rude. He indicated that they will not exchange the chair for another. He also indicated that the chair can be returned, but no further purchases will be allowed moving forward. What kind of company does that and communicates in that way? Madison Seating claims to have a hassle free return policy, yet hassles it's customers when they complain about their sub-par product.

The chair I received was in terrible condition. The arm broke off. I ordered a replacement part for the arm to try and fix it. They sent it to the wrong address. It took countless emails and phone calls to get it reshipped at my cost (part and shipping). I received a wheel??? Customer Service is intentionally useless!

I ordered a chair 3 weeks ago. It has been 3 weeks and They tell me it hasn't even been shipped yet...Mitch Gold there is no one to complain to and their corporate headquarters does not take calls. I wonder if the owners even know or care what is going on in shipping.
