They state they provide warranty service but are saying they closed the warranty department due to COVID, From the looks of it they are still selling chairs but delayed due to COVID. I asked for a refund after being told a 2nd time I have to wait month and even then no guarantees. So in my opinion they do not provide warranty service currently and won't until its safe to go back to work. I would not recommend getting one of their chairs as they are not very good quality, mine broke after 8 months of use and now there is no warranty as stated on the site. You cant say you have a warranty when you close your warranty department. Good luck shopping here if you choose to do so. They seem to have good prices but... No guarantees. I am regretting that decision now.

I ordered a Herman Miller chair from Madison Seating. They claimed to have it in stock and ready to ship. They also claimed they would have the chair to me within 14 days. 5 weeks later I received the chair. The chair was damaged during shipping. The shipping box had multiple holes and dents because the chair was not properly packaged. Legs and armrests were sticking out of the box and were damaged. I wrote to Madison Seating, sent them pictures and a description of the damages. They are refusing to refund me because they claim it was an open box sale. I did not expect the chair to come with the manufacturers box but surely they could have packed it decently for shipping since that is their business selling and shipping chairs. I'll be pursuing further action.

I ordered a Steelcase Think V2 Chair, which arrived on time (within the stated 14 days). However, when I received the chair, I realized they sent me the wrong the V1 original chair, which was listed on their site for $100 less. I asked them to allow me to exchange the chairs. Instead of exchanging, they refunded me the $100, which does not include sales tax they charged for the V2 chair. When I asked about the refund on tax, they said that it could not be returned as the tax was calculated on their business location, which makes absolutely no sense. I have never heard of a business not refunding sales tax! While I can forgive the mistake of sending the wrong chair, I don't understand how a business can't refund the full amount of purchase price + sales tax.

My review is identical in that I ordered a chair and the troubles started almost immediately. After 2 weeks with no word about the status of my order, I reach out. They reply quickly that my chair should ship out in the next couple days. Another week goes by, I send another email, again get a response saying my chair should ship out by the end of the week. Another week goes by. Another email... Ok you get it. I too understand times are difficult and things are not moving smoothly anywhere, but please be truthful with the estimates. I was very, very patient. Placed order 3/25 only to have finally received what I believe is a damaged chair with no assembly instructions by the way on 4/29/20. When I asked them to please send assembly instructions I was sent some random PDF showing a repair to the chair that had nothing to do with assembly. Stop patting your customers on the head and give them real information! It doesn't help anyone to tell a customer the chair is going to ship out in a couple days (multiple times) when in reality it isn't shipping out for several more weeks or send them anything just to reply to their request and get it out of the way no matter how unhelpful that reply is. After over 30 days, I finally receive the chair...it seems damaged. I reach out asking about their return and refund policy with images showing my broken chair. Their customer service told me I was free to send the chair back if I did not like it or their customer service which seemed a bit snippy. What they leave out is they hit you for a $50 restocking fee and you're stuck with whatever it costs to send it back, probably at least $100. Posting a negative review wherever I can! They may have gotten my $200 but will never get my business or a good word passed about them ever.

I purchased a Herman Miller Aeron chair that was supposed to ship in 10-14 business days. I was willing to wait that long because the price was very reasonable. After 14 business days passed with no updates, I contacted customer service. I understand that with the Covid issue going on it could take a bit longer, but I just wanted a status update. They surprised me by stating that the chair I ordered was out-of-stock! I never received a notification of it being out-of-stock during the three weeks I waited. The website allowed me to order it without stating it was out-of-stock. Plus, the order was never placed in "backordered" status on the site. Although they offered to substitute a different chair size when I contacted them, I was told this would take another 10-14 business days. They then cancelled my order without my permission. Just to test it, I found I was still able to put my original order into my cart on the site with no indication it was out-of-stock, despite being told it was out-of-stock. I asked them why I would still be able to order something that was not in-stock, but they replied they are updating their site. I understand that this is a difficult time period for businesses, but there is no reason why a customer should not be informed something is out-of-stock. Having someone wait for three weeks for nothing is absurd. I took my business elsewhere.

please please ...don't ever buy from this business I bought a chair from them which was defective ...they never responded to my complain which was 3-4 emails and muliple calls ...when I filed a complaint with BBB they responded to me saying since I went to BBB they won't approve the warranty kind of penalizing me for doing so....I have developed a chronic back pain using this product( I do wfh) scamming hard working ppl with their hard earned money will take them nowhere my advice save your self from trouble and stay away from this merchant ...

They advertise and sent me an email that would match competitor pricing and then would not match a legitimate price from a legitimate source. They seem really shady and curt and I was a prospective customer. It explains why they have a lot of bad reviews. Poor customer service for sure.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS UNAUTHORIZED DEALER! I had the worst experience ever. I ordered a Herman Miller Aeron Posture Fit Office Chair. First, the product took 3 weeks to arrive. Second, the packing of the chair was shoddy at best and upon arrival, one of the casters was broken. They sent a replacement caster which was incorrect. Then they replaced that one by sending 5 new casters that were not the same as the originals on the chair. Then we noticed there was a piece missing from the posture fit accessory. They sent a part out with no instructions how to fix it. Lastly there is a hole in the seat which they basically stated to me "you get what you pay for". We had to call Herman Miller to get instructions to correct the posture fitting only to discover that they are not an authorized dealer and they are known for "frankenstein-ing" their chairs together. Exactly what happened to me! We also discovered that the chair I received was an outdated version of the current Aeron Chair which was never disclosed to me by Madison. Madison's customer service and staff as a whole were slow and difficult to deal with on top of all that. They are being reported to the BBB.
