Unable to deliver in reasonable time (3.5 months and waiting)
Ordered over 3 months ago with no update. They should stop selling something that they cannot deliver. Ordered 10/7/2020 and I called once and they told me my chair was expected to be shipped "mid-November". It is now January 17. I emailed to cancel my order and would not do business nor recommend anyone to this company.

My experience was so-so
My experience was so-so. I ordered a couple of chairs, got one one of them two and a half months later. Super delayed, the others were just delayed indefinitely. They keep extending the delays and are terribly bad at lying about it. Sometimes i wish they will tell the truth upfront instead of feeding false things to the customer. Be-aware that the shipping times on their website is completely false. Expect your chair in like 3+ months if you are lucky. Also expect zero communication from them unless you ask. The chair was alright

Never order hardwood casters with your chair - rip off!!
Orderd a Herman Miller on 7/21. It was "in stock." Received the chair on 10/29. Ordered the chair and checked the box for "hardwood floor casters." which are a $35 option. The "hardwood floor casters" turned out to be normal plastic carpet casters. When I asked about this, I was pointed to part of the website I never saw where they define "hardwood casters" as the same plastic junk you would have gotten anyway, but with a different name.
Don't ever check the box for "hardwood casters" at Madison Seating, because they keep using those words, but I do not think they know what they mean.

Good price, terrible service
Good price, terrible service. 2 friends and I ordered the same Herman Miller on the same day. Mine came when advertised, one friend waited 2 months just to hear back after paying, and the other cancelled the order after 3 months of waiting (they filled the order despite lacking inventory). They did not arrive with any identifying stickers (product ID), setup/adjustment manuals, and the chair was coming out of the box when it arrived. Madison Seating also refuses to provide ANY product info that is not listed on the website, which seems very questionable.

Can't ship order timely
Ordered a chair on 8/23/2020, and it has not shipped as of 10/10/2020. Give them 1 star above minimum for their prompt responses on order inquiries (although quite useless if they can't even ship the product ordered).

Delay after delay. Good support tho
I purchased a chair right in the middle of the first COVID wave. I assumed there'd be delays, no issues or worries there. After two weeks, my order was still in an Open state. Figured it's delayed, dropped an email to them. Was told that due to COVID, it'd be another two weeks before it's shipped. Alright, that's fine. Come two more weeks, still no notifications, messages, anything. Reach out to them again. Still hasn't even gotten thrown together, said it'd be another week.
At this point, I started looking around for other places I could buy this chair, and ended up cancelling the order.
Zero communication on delays, date keeps getting pushed back. I will give them kudos for fast responses from support though, everything was responded to in less than half an hour. Other than that, very poor experience.
I get COVID is causing some issues - that's unavoidable - but at least be realistic about timeframes and keep the people throwing money at you informed as to what's going on.

Basically a bait and switch operation
Basically a bait and switch operation. Madison Seating does not carry live inventory on their site. If you order a product they will ship it when it happens to arrive in their inventory. So shipping can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 10 weeks. When you call to discuss they attempt to sell you a similar product.

18 days later, still no chair.
I ordered a Leap Chair-V2 w/Aluminum by Steelcase on May 12th. The email they sent states that the estimated delivery time is 10-14 days from the order date. I wrote to them on May 22nd asking if there was an update to provide, then they sent me a message saying, "As your email confirmation indicates, we ask that you allow an estimated 14 business days for delivery from the order date. (Business days do not include weekends or legal holidays)." - Why was this not in the original message if you needed to exclude holidays and weekends? As of May 30th, that's 13 days with no tracking number, no shipping information, and no update on availability.
I sent another message on May 30th, which is approximately 18 days total days from my order date. I have received a message that says, "Our office will be closed Friday, May 29th in observance of the Shavuot holiday. We will respond to your email when we reopen on Monday, June 1st." - I am very understanding that observations of holidays are important, but I am curious where the communication to your customers is if you're going to be closing during these business days? I'm pretty sure that Shavuot is not a legal holiday so I didn't think to count it. Also, if my chair is not in stock, at least let me know. I see the chair is still for sale on their website.
This is my first experience with Madison Seating, and I'm afraid I don't feel confident that they are able to fulfill orders effectively. I gave them two-stars for responding to my messages. I am disappointed that they are excessively delayed, provide zero updates (they could've just posted it on their website instead of emailing/messaging users directly), give no clear product availability indication that I could figure out for myself.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who's gotten this treatment, as I dislike leaving reviews for any business without giving them a chance. I am going to allow until June 2nd for a reasonable update from Madison Seating, and if they do not provide me with an update, I will cancel my order. I do hope that they are able to conduct better business practices in the future.
