A total scam. We bought a chair TWO MONTHS AGO. I tried to cancel the order and they won't reply. I have followed up multiple times asking for updates. They hide behind "delays from Covid-19" and don't actually fulfill or cancel orders. Don't waste your money, your time, or your patience with this horrible company.

Do not expect a positive experience from Madison Seating. 1. Their website indicated 10-14 business day lead time, however it actually took nearly 3 months. I was given 3 lead time updates along the way, all of which were woefully inaccurate. In the end, they sent me a chair different than the one I ordered. 2. The chair, listed as "Highly Adjustable," did not include all of the adjustment features pictured on the website. 3. During the course of the nearly 3 months I waited for my chair, they reduced the price of the chair listed on their website, however they refused to honor their own lower price and charged me the higher price. 4. Their "Money Back Guarantee" is a joke that will cost you significant $$ if you try to return your item. 5. Their customer service was quick to respond to emails, however the information provided was not helpful and was some combination of ill-informed and misleading.

Ordered a herman miller refurbished chair from them in late December and asked to allow up to 14 business days before shipment. This would've been mid January. After multiple follow-ups, by the 10th of February they were telling me it will be end of month. That would be well over a month and half past the expected ship date. Communication was not acceptable, always on the consumer's end to follow-up multiple times only to be told there will be further delays.

I noticed that reviews are being marked as illegitimate and they state their reviews are being "hacked". This is definitely a legitimate review. I placed an order on 1/14/2021 for a Herman Miller Aeron. I quickly received an email stating an expected delivery 14 days. At the end of that 14 day period, I reached out for an update having no had any further contact, tacking numbers, or delivery. I received a response stating Covid delays, and it would be shipping mid-February. With no further contact from them, I reached out on 2/24/21 for an update. I was then informed that my order would be shipping mid March. At this point I decided it was best to cancel my order. (Order #484250 for proof) I understand the current situation is causing difficulties, but this is ridiculous for something that shows "in-stock" on the website. Ordered an in-stock item from another vendor, and have a tracking number in less than 24 hours. I understand Covid difficulties are hitting everyone, but using it as an excuse for poor business practices is unacceptable. If something is "in-stock" it doesn't take 6+ weeks to ship.

I ordered a chair from Madison Seating with a delivery date of 2 weeks later as a Christmas gift (order was placed early December). It didn't ship in December - my order only showed as "Open," so I contacted them in January to ask for an update, and was told my order would ship end of January (due to COVID). When it didn't I contacted them again, only to be told it would ship in mid/late February. I contacted them again in mid-Feb to be told I was high priority and my order would ship soon. At the end of February I was contacted and told they cancelled my order and couldn't ship to my address (despite it being allowed in the system and a $170 shipping charge on my order). They only charge when the order is shipped, so I'm not out any money - but don't expect them to deliver a chair, just expect for them to tell you it's been delayed then to cancel. Don't ever order from them for a gift, you will end up making excuses for them to your friend. I'm also seeing them reply to every negative review that their "Trust Pilot has been hacked," but I am a real person, writing a real review. I even included my order number for them in this review.

Purchased an Aeron chair and after a month of no communication, I reached out to them. They did respond (Emma) and said it would likely be another 6-8 weeks. And then, without requesting it, they cancelled my order. Poor customer service.

Forced to cancel my order after waiting for over two months. they are blaming the pandemic for delays when really they take orders for inventory they don't have and hoping to source. Do yourself a favor and avoid!!!' BTW this is a real review, instead of fixing the terrible business they are illegally tying to discredit poor reviews. Horrible customer service. Rude and unprofessional. I ordered a chair with upgraded casters that were advertised on their website as "Deep carpet". However, the casters I received were not rated for high-pile rugs and carpets by the manufacturer and do not work on deep carpet. Never received a refund or replacement. The customer service representatives were trying to threaten me that they will take legal action against me if I keep trying to get my money back. And yes, just like everyone else said, the order took forever to ship. I think the only reason it was shipped at all is because I kept sending them emails until someone finally responded to me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
