Needs Better Therapists and More Responsive Customer Support
I have access to Lyra through one of the large, well-known companies I worked for, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. One therapist I saw came across as judgmental rather than supportive, which made it difficult to build trust. More recently, I contacted customer support, and the representative sounded disengaged, spoke very quietly, and the call ended after less than a minute without my issue being resolved. Based on these experiences, I have concerns about the consistency of the quality of both the therapists and customer support. While I can't speak to Lyra's hiring practices, the service has not reflected the standard I would expect from a provider partnered with major employers. In my own circle, many colleagues who work at large companies choose to pay out of pocket to see therapists outside of Lyra because they've had better experiences elsewhere. I hope Lyra invests more in therapist quality, customer support, and accountability, as the service has the potential to be a valuable employee benefit but currently falls short of that promise.
