Great experience, and amazing mentor! I would say it was worth the money, just be sure to be very committed. It requires a lot of time, so be prepared

I really enjoy the experience of studying in the Lumiere research program, and it's mainly because of my fantastic mentor (Tom Joash and Anran Wang). They are really responsible and they helped me a lot on planning on my essay, reminding all of the deadlines for me.

Having a mentor who was very knowledgeable in the topic I wanted to research. I also felt that having a writing coach was extremely beneficial because they can help you with writing skills which will carry over in your other assignments. All the skills learned from this program are very beneficial in the long term

There is a great system to match you with highly capable mentors from whom you can learn a lot of things.

Great program setup and great mentors that are very good at helping students learn the concepts. I felt like Lumiere did an amazing job with pairing me up with a mentor and providing me with any resource that I needed.

Participating in Lumiere Education has been an incredibly enriching experience. Not only is the program academically rigorous, but the learning environment is also remarkably friendly and supportive. From the dedicated director, Stephen, to the program manager and the entire team, everyone is responsive and always available to help. This level of support and the welcoming atmosphere truly made a difference in my educational journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this exceptional program.

Lumiere helped me reach a greater goal than I had ever imagined. In a matter of 3 months, I practiced my English, read a lot of papers, wrote, edited and did the whole research process. It was a life-changing experience that shaped my path personally and for college.

The personalized interaction with my mentor was extremely focused on building a niche interest in my field of choice and then working towards a tangible contribution to that field. It helped me grow from a conservative approach about my ideas to a more motive-based one.
