Lumiere EducationReviews of lumiere-education.com

This is a great opportunity for young writers. It is an excellent way to step out of your comfort zone. The program provides you with a lot of assistance and guidance, through the mentor, program manager and writing coax to ensure that you are not stuck during the research process. It’s a great opportunity for you to express your ideas through an academic lens

Responsible mentor & great structure (all timeline/deadlines are provided). Just a little pricy.

This program did an amazing job on communicating with me and helping me through my scientific journey. It’s a great way for high schoolers up their college applications while also learning and diving deeper into topics that they are interested in.

I learnt a lot about my own research topic, linguistics, as I was given the chance to access academic papers, get immediate feedback on my writing, and discuss theories asnd concepts with a profesional on the matter. Besides this, I learnt about how to write a proper academic paper, what they consist on, what my flaws and problems are when facing such a challenge, and how to work around said issues. Overall, it was a very intense experience paired with my academics from school, but I found it incredibly rewarding and insightful experience that allowed me to develop previosuly underexplored skills.

I really liked sessions my mentor since they were useful to track my progress and work on the mistakes. I learned to reflect on my mistakes that will help me work on other projects in the future. I recommend people to join this program as it was my foundation in writing a research paper and I gained a lot of mistakes. However, I think it would more helpful if you could give feedback on milestones that we submit. I believe it would make the final research paper better as we would have the chance to work on the mistakes one by one with evaluation team’s feedback.

My mentor was incredibly accessible and provided timely, actionable feedback on my research , which helped me improve my technical skills. I felt I was working on a real, high-impact project rather than just busy work. Being able to contribute in the region of space debris was very rewarding. Having access to Writing guidance was invaluable and allowed me to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

My mentor was really great and guided me to writing a well rounded research paper. Additionally the entire Lumiere team provided all the essential resources I needed in order to succeed. The writing coach/writing center were also very kind and knowledgeable when it can to grammar, which improved my paper even more. Really looking forward to participating in this program again!

The mentor assigned to me was very helpful and competent, the feedback from the writing coach was thorough, and the plans outlined by the publication specialist were clear and logical. A great research experience overall! Only improvement would be that a slightly longer timeline may have worked a bit better with my schedule.
