Hi James, We’re sorry to hear the program did not meet your expectations. Our program is structured with weekly mentor meetings and ongoing support from Program Managers. Since writing a research paper is a rigorous process, the program is designed to encourage both academic guidance and student independence. Many students find this combination helps them prepare for future academic work. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve our offerings. Best, The Lumiere Team

Hi Aaron, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We truly appreciate your perspective. Our program aims to provide research opportunities to students who may not have access to them otherwise. We encourage students to explore as many research opportunities as they can. We agree with you that academic publication cannot be guaranteed—which is why the Lumiere program does not guarantee publication. We provide support for up to 3 rounds of submission to high school or undergraduate-level journals. Best, The Lumiere Team
