This research was the best opportunity I could ever have! I got so much to learn and share, plus my mentor was so great, she was helpful, kind and supportive. This is an amazing opportunity to learn and gain knowledge about every aspect of research.

I was in the Lumiere Inclusion Program, and everything went smoothly. An example is the way I was assigned a mentor, and every time I had a meeting with her, she came right on time and explained everything to me. Additionally, if I had some papers I wasn't able to access by that time, she searched for those papers and gave them to me in no time. Overall, the coordination of Lumiere was so good that I can't regret having a research experience more than once at Lumiere.

I had a great time with Lumiere team, it was an amazing experience of learning, learning from a mentor, and then writing a research question to making outline and proposal and finally submitting whole paper, each and everything was amazing. The way, this program has been designed, and the way Lumiere team implements it, truly makes it learnable. The way I get feedbacks not only helped me to improve my learning but also gives me enough courage to keep going through this program. Everyone involved in the program team and appreciable as they have done an amazing job.

When I applied for Lumiere, I was super stressed about my extracurriculars—specifically, what sort of study or activities I should have, and what should be my long-term project. I sort of expected to use this experience as a jump board so I could get a sense of what I could do and then start something on my own. And to my surprise, the experience quickly evolved beyond this initial expectation. After the first few meetings, I started to really having an idea on the vast branches of physics, and saw how the simple concepts I had in class could all connect together, which linked seamlessly with the advance researches and ideas that I thought were far beyond my reach. Then, as my paper progressed, I found my existing LaTex writing skills and the modeling skills developed in a separate competition proved to be mutually beneficial and highly applicable to this research. And all of a sudden, everything that I was doing started to combine together to form a unique network of my own. This convergence inspired a exploration field and a long-term project that I am committed to pursuing even after the Lumiere program has concluded. This experience truly did exceed all my expectations in a stunning way that I couldn't imagine before.

I feel that I have grown intellectually and personally through Lumiere. I have been able to develop my technical skills for economics research, as well as being able to work with a mentor. I would definitely recommend Lumiere to a friend.

My experience has been both challenging and genuinely rewarding. The programme helped me explore real world problems, particularly environmental and public health issues such as soil and groundwater contamination, and develop them into structured academic research. I learned how to move beyond surface level ideas by forming clear research questions, selecting appropriate methods, analysing data, and presenting findings in a clear academic style. One of the most valuable aspects was gaining confidence in independent thinking. I became more comfortable reading and understanding scientific papers, evaluating methodologies, and linking global research to local contexts, especially issues relevant to Mongolia. The experience also significantly improved my academic writing, allowing me to communicate complex ideas more clearly and logically.Overall, the programme encouraged me to work at a higher academic standard while remaining curious and engaged. It strengthened my interest in research and demonstrated how well designed studies can contribute meaningfully to addressing real environmental and societal challenges.

My experience with the Lumiere Research Scholar Program was genuinely meaningful and helped me grow as a researcher. I began the program with only a basic understanding of academic research, but the structured curriculum, clear deadlines, and consistent mentor support helped me build strong skills in academic writing, critical thinking, and qualitative analysis. My mentor provided detailed, thoughtful feedback at every stage, helping me complete a research paper on a topic I was passionate about and guiding me through each step of the process with clarity and encouragement.
