My wife and I hadn’t ate at a Longhorn Steakhouse for a while but we decided to eat there even though we had previously had a bad experience in Hickory NC. We did like the bread but when the steaks arrived the taste was off with no spices and they were tough. The baked potato looked like it had been reheated and was extremely small and the lighting was so low you could barely see your plate. The original reason we stopped going was because we ordered ribeyes and ended up with NY Strips. We talked to the manager and he said that it was a ribeye but they cut their own meat like a NY Strip. I told him I didn’t believe that any steakhouse would cut a ribeye to look like a NY Strip but he wanted to argue so I just told him whatever. We always ordered ribeyes so we knew by the cut and taste it wasn’t a ribeye but we paid for our ribeye meal and left. We were born at night but not last night. Very disappointed.

Ordered the burger from the menu which indicated you could choose “your choice of cheese; the waitress was unclear whether they had the cheese I wanted which was pepper jack so as a substitute I said if you don’t have it give me the American and I wanted mayonnaise instead of their special sauce and no pickles. My burger arrived with no cheese nor mayo and it was a while before waitress returned to see if everything was ok. At that point, I no longer wanted the burger. My granddaughter’s steak was tuff which she struggle to eat. The waitress while she remained calm gave a false sense of concern re my displeasure with the service I was provided! I’ve frequented this Longhorn’s location for many a year and this was by far my worst experience! The manager did come over to talk to me but the information that he stated was communicated by me to the waitress was not in fact what was communicated to her! He offered to add the cheese etc but I declined as I no longer wanted the burger. I will not be coming here again anytime soon!

Dinner was awful and so was the server, has an attitude. not a job for her

Good afternoon, Location at Monroe, LA I ordered lunch from you all on today. It was an online order that consisted of 6 orders. Once I arrived to restaurant to pick up orders. The wait time was about 30 minutes. I was understanding because it was during lunch hour, so I understood if it took some time to prepare all the orders. The staff were polite as they can be, however during my wait time I was not offered any water or drink while I waited patiently. (wasnt expecting anything free). Once all my orders were ready, 1 order was placed in big brown bag and the others were not. I had to request for another brown bag to place my other orders in to make it easier to carry out to my vehicle. I, myself, placed the orders in the bag. I wasn't offered for any assistance or help to carry items to my car. I had to make two trips in and out of restaurant to get all my orders. I wasn't asked did I have everything. I eat at this restaurant occasionally and I've never had this experience. The staff were not rude, just could have been a little more helpful.

They seated us right away and then proceeded to ignore us. We waited for 20 minutes before telling the host that we didn’t have a waiter and still nothing. It was horrible watching a waiter taking other people’s orders and ignoring us for the entire time. Finally we left and they had the nerve to say thank you for coming.

Ordered carry out Gallatin TN. The baked potato totally was totally black inside. Was absolutely disgusting!!!!

We’ve frequented Longhorn Steakhouse in St Peters Missouri since Texas Roadhouse and Outback both went down hill. The steaks at Longhorn were ALWAYS delicious! Mouthwatering in fact. We recently went after illness kept us away a few months. BOY WERE WE DISAPPOINTED! WHAT HAPPENED?!? The ribeye I recieved didn’t look right. It was extremely flat and smooth, it didn’t even look like a steak. It looked like it had been a thicker steak that they had cut longways in 3parts! I turned it over and it was just as flat and smooth as the other side. Because I always get my steak well done, that’s what ordered. But because it was so thin, it was like leather. Then to top it off, they had changed their seasoning to a “6 pepper” seasoning! I’m sorry, but I do NOT like hot spice on my food! And to me it was hot! ALL portion sizes had gotten smaller as well. They used to serve on a big round plate, now it’s a smaller rectangle plate that seemed too big with the smaller portions. They’ve even changed their bread, which was not good. My mother’s filet was only half the thickness it used to be. I sent my order back. Reordered a burger. The burger was dry, and dense. No juiciness at all. I only choked down half of it. Normally we’d take home leftovers… not this time. The only GOOD thing about our dinner was the Strawberry salad which is always delicious. Those are the only steak houses in my area that I’m aware of, and LONGHORN was our last resort in my mind. SO DISAPPOINTING! I thought THANK GOD at least one of these steakhouses in our area is still decent. WELL.. not anymore!

I wanted to give a shout out to an AMAZING team at Longhorn in West Springfield MA, under the direction of Sheila Young! She is hardworking, attentive, kind, and exceptional when it comes to a busy restaurant at 6:30pm and 11 family members waiting to sit to celebrate a birthday. She was outstanding with her staff, the patrons around her, as was GREAT with me. Cheers to a raise to her.
