Just had a delicious dinner at Longhorns in Canton GA.
The food is always good but there is a distinct odor when you enter the restaurant. There were three of us and we overheard others complaining about it as well. Almost wanted to turn around and walk out. We have noticed similar unpleasant smell in the one in Woodstock GA. Like smelling your younger brothers armpit after he's done with a wrestling match.... it may just be that the carpet needs to be replaced. Also, the seats need refurbishing...you sink down in them so far. They are not torn just need more stuffing!!!

Pets inside the restaurant!
Since when did this restaurant start allowing pets, this use to be my go to place. PETS belong at home. Everyone does not agree with having a meal with your pet. Shame on longhorn for allowing it.

The outlaw ribeye steak promoted wasn't even close to what they show. It was cooked to the right temp, but, I was expecting the right cut.

food was fantastic/service unorganized
food was fantastic, service was below average, the server did not take orders in sequence so when the other server brought food he had no idea where the food went. they passed the food down the table so it went thru 4 people before you got your plate, 2 out of 7 orders were on completed correctly, just very poor service from Jadee on March 20/2026 at longhorn steakhouse in valdosta ga. they actually came and collected glasses because the bar had ran out, if they can't buy enough glasses for their customers they have a major issue, just very poor service. The food was delicious.

My mouth was burning from the excessive pepper and salt
First visit to new Sheboygan location. I went early in the evening so there was no wait. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression.
My server, Becky S., was also very nice and explained the menu and options clearly. She did mention the steak would be spice-forward, which I appreciated.
The bread looked fantastic and tasted great. Definitely the highlight of the meal.
I ordered the salad with the $1.99 upcharge. The salad itself was pretty basic and not worth the extra charge, but the raspberry vinaigrette was excellent.
Unfortunately the main course didn't land as well. The steak came out quickly and smelled great, but the seasoning was extremely heavy-handed. The pepper was overpowering, and the sea salt on the baked potato was also excessive. By the end of the meal my mouth was honestly burning a bit from the pepper and salt. Becky did warn me the steak would be spice-forward, but this crossed the line into over-seasoned.
The baked potato was also surprisingly small for a steakhouse.
Another downside was the atmosphere around the server station. I was seated right next to it, and an NRO-certified trainer stood there chatting with two staff members for quite a while. If you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean. On top of that, someone who sounded like a regional manager was coaching loudly nearby with comments like "all you need to do is throw in five extra potatoes" and "you don't want me standing over you." Not exactly the kind of conversation guests want to overhear during dinner.
Overall: great service from Becky and a strong start with the bread and hospitality. But the heavy seasoning and some distracting staff chatter kept the meal from living up to what I expect from a steakhouse.
I'd probably give it another try, but next time I'd definitely ask for lighter seasoning.

take outs are not a good idea
You would think that a takeout order would be just as good as what is served in the dining room. Well I got a rare steak, not med rare and mushy broccoli. The bread was smashed in aluminum foil and it got flat. I was so disappointed. The good news is the chicken fingers and fries were good. Had I been in the dining room I certainly would have complained. Next time I guess I will go somewhere else.
