I ordered my lens and the Customer Support Representative emailed me and suggested a different lens. Susan gave me the reason for her suggestion and I changed my order and saved $20. For that reason, I will recommend Lens Factory to my friends and family and will continue to order from them as needed.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: My order took some time to complete, longer than I thought it would. Customer service was good in responding but kept pushing out the completion time; definitely got the feeling that the response was "canned" in many cases. I sent in my Oakley glasses in the Oakley case as suggested by the website. Additionally, it was in an Oakley glass-cleaning cloth bag inside the case. Well, that didn't come back. ARG. No intention to use them again or recommend them. UPDATED REVIEW: OK, so I thought the response below was an empty promise, something the company was saying just to make the review response sound attentive. I was wrong. The company did everything they said they would and more. They sent me two glasses bags, definitely Oakley. This company does things right by the customer. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Hi, I'm really sorry you didn't get your Oakley cleaning cloth bag back. I looked through the photos we take of the packages we receive and can't find evidence that we received one. I am a return customer, I really feel I get help with the whole ordeal from beginning to end . They are quick and my glasses are great ,I was paying 585.00 for 1 pair of frames now I can get a pair of frames from a drug store for 6.00 dollar and have my glasses made for 179 .00 for two pair . it saves me time and expenses. I have told all my co works and friends, and people with children I could see how much cheaper it would be for the parents that have children wearing glasses . soooo Thanks Lensfactory keep up the good work.

I ordered lens for my glasses. The process took about a month from beginning to end. I sent them in a new black eyeglass case and cleaned the frames and lens. They arrived this week from LensFactory and the case that I had put them had some kind of "white glue or product" all over the black case. I could not get it out so I had to throw it away. Then I looked at my $400.00 Gucci frames and the same "glue" or adhesive was all over the frames. Also, the frames looked like they disassembled them and they no longer looked the same. The lens were okay though from a prescription perspective but I had to try and get this adhesive (or whatever it was) off the frames which was hard to to. I was unable to repair the frames to the what they looked like prior to shipping. What a huge disappointment. If the frames were dirty when sent in they should clean them prior to sending back to the customer. (that was not the case) I will not use them again.

Hi Katherine, I'm sorry for the problems you encountered with our service. The "white glue" you are referring to could be lens polish. We put eyeglass cases in plastic bags to protect them and many times keep them stored safely away from anywhere they would come in contact with messy materials. I'm looking into our processes to see how it could have happened so we can make sure it doesn't happen again. For cleaning it, the white polish is water soluble so it should just wipe off with warm water. If the case is cloth, then it might be a little tougher. As far as the frames are concerned, if we damage your frames we will certainly fix or replace them. We don't take frames apart at the hinges, so if you could send me some pictures of the problem...
