LensDirect flagged my first review from July of 2020.
My order was shipped to the wrong address and it was returned to sender. They made a simple mistake that they could have easily fixed on their own dime, by sending my order back out with the correct address. I expected nothing less. Instead, I was refunded for the purchase (minus the shipping cost) and achieved nothing other then losing money by paying for a package to go on a road trip. The real kicker was my order ended up at a Post Office only about a 15 minute drive away before it was sent back. When I talked to a clerk at that PO over the phone, she told me the address on the package was not the same as what I was telling her and my package had been sent back already. Had LensDirect handled their mistake better I would have given them 5 stars and been a repeat customer, instead of shopping elsewhere. UPDATE I have since been asked by TrustPilot on LensDirects behalf for more information regarding my review, less then 24hrs after I posted it. I ask where was this concern for the first review I posted in July of 2020 that they ended up flagging? I don't see the point in providing that info, as I will likely never shop with them again, but I provided an order # just the same. I was corresponding with a rep when this issue first happened. I could have had my order sent again but I wasn't hearing anything about them paying for the shipping. I do not feel as though as I should have had to pay shipping costs a second time for a mistake that they made. Am I wrong to think that?
