Like most reviews on here, it's not a good one. My ranch home was finished in June of 2025, located in a small town called Windsor in WI. From the start, there were red flags all over the place. There were systemic failures from day one of closing, when I moved in with a conditional occupancy and a mud pit for a yard. But that was only the beginning.. My garage floor was poured during frost season and settled 4" and cracked everywhere, requiring a full replacement.. from there, drainage and grading issues on the yard, fraudulent levels of insulation in the attic, concrete cracks everywhere, unfinished exterior trim everywhere, plumbing and electrical that was rushed and not to code, plus filth everywhere and construction debris left in floor vents and AC ducts.. and mold in the basement behind unsatisfactory insulation on the foundation walls, that Lennar wouldn't remediate or fix. This was all from a brand new home.. and the customer service was brutal, they are trained to deny and delay as much as possible to protect the bottom line. And when they do send contractors it's the same people that messed it up in the first place. If the homeowner isn't there, they'll rush the repair or do nothing at all. You gotta document and babysit everything they do. It's almost comical how bad they are. The first year in my new home has been nothing short of a disaster. Do not buy from this company, they're incompetent, they're dishonest, they're unethical and uncaring people. Worst part is every home in my neighborhood has similar experiences, it's not just one or two isolated failures. Only way to fix this is to get the word out, and to stop purchasing their homes altogether to force them out of business. They're fraudsters.

They tell a lot of lies; they say the house comes with a warranty, but when something breaks and you call them, they just tell you that specific item isn't covered. Everything breaks down, yet in the end, nothing is actually under warranty—don't buy from them.

Lennar Horror story (You could not make this one up). I am a homeowner at Towns at Ivy Creek, a Lennar community in Buford, GA. I am writing this review after 6 days without air conditioning in my home, with a newborn (1 month old premature) and a 4 year old present. I reported the issue Sunday night (Service Request #07565473). The diagnosis: a hole in the evaporator coil. Despite the urgency, we are still waiting on a replacement part with no confirmed ETA. During this time: the upstairs of our townhome reached 86°F, Lennar's emergency line went unanswered, RGP HVAC (their contractor) placed temporary window units but refused to install one upstairs citing safety hazards, and my one-month-old premature infant was taken to the Children's ER in Sandy Springs. Hotel accommodations were approved 3 days into this ordeal only after Gary Griffis from customer service stated that it had not been hot enough in the last few days. Not sure what he was talking about as inside the home was 86 degrees. A family should not have to leave their home waiting on a coil replacement in a relatively new Lennar home. I have documented everything. If you are considering buying a Lennar home, please factor in how warranty and emergency service requests are handled post-closing.

I purchased a dover model home August 2025. A couple months ago some neighbors informed me that there was a construction flaw in ceiling hallway. Apparently some brace needed to be installed. Lenar never notified me. This process to get it repaired encompassed miscommunication, changes in progress and what appsarwe'd to be submitting contract work. Ultimately the interaction with the Lenar rep was curt and rude. The post buying experience is not customer friendly.

Disappointing Long-Term Quality and Poor Customer Support from Lennar We purchased a new Lennar home in 2020 and were initially excited about the move-in. Unfortunately, in 2026 we experienced major plumbing problems when our sewer line began backing up into the house. After an inspection, we discovered the issue was not due to normal wear and tear — the sewer line under our concrete driveway had completely separated because the pipes were never properly glued or joined during installation. This was clearly a construction defect from day one. The repair required breaking up the driveway and cost us $10,000 out of pocket. We contacted Lennar for assistance, expecting some accountability for substandard workmanship on a relatively new home. They simply stated that the warranty had expired and refused to help or even discuss any contribution toward the repair. For a large national builder like Lennar, this level of response is unacceptable. A company of their size and reputation should stand behind their product beyond the strict letter of a short warranty, especially when the problem stems from improper installation rather than age or owner neglect. We now have significantly less confidence in the long-term quality of Lennar homes. Future buyers should be very thorough with inspections and consider the limited recourse if major issues appear after the warranty period. Extremely disappointed in both the initial construction quality and the complete lack of support

Horrible company, poorly run, doesn't care about people who spent a lot of money only to get treated like a disease. Warranty doesn't exist, the find a reason not to fix anything, they check with contractor to make decision on whether to fix anything. It's not a Lennar warranty, it's a greedy contractor warranty. What a crooked uncaring company. Customer service is not existence; sales crew at Liberty Lake WA a joke.

Overall, this is a great community with many positive aspects. The neighborhood is growing, new families are moving in, and the location is very convenient. Grocery stores, gyms, shopping, and other everyday necessities are all nearby, and places like Target are just a short drive away. The community itself is welcoming and has a lot of potential. One disappointment in our experience was regarding the kitchen backsplash. We were told that our home would have a full backsplash, but it was not installed as expected. After moving in, we noticed many comparable homes in the community have full backsplash installed, which made the situation even more confusing and disappointing. This has left us feeling overlooked compared to other homeowners in the community. Despite this concern, we do enjoy the community, the location, and the overall neighborhood atmosphere.

Bait & Switch, construction crew from hell and pool still not done even tough it's hotter than a fire ant bite. This company needs to be run out of the state of North Carolina. We bought our home and when doing so, we were assured there would be no vacation rental like Air Bnb in the community. Not only did they tell us there would be no vacation rentals, we got it in writing. Now we have two Air BnB's on our street with constant noise issues but some dude just bought 8 properties. In addition they said pool would be done by spring, well we just got through Memorial Weekend and the pool is nowhere near completion. The construction crew leaves nails all over the street and cat calls at women who walk in the community. Our little slice of heaven is now the home from hell. The company who know is the "HOA" takes years to approve anything and gives fines to property owners for little things but allows a biker crew overtake the neighborhood at one of the Air BnB's. Do yourself a favor, find a local builder.
