Thought this was a quality product with lifetime guarantee…
I have a Le Crueset casserole dish which has a single enamel chip on inner surface. I have seen numerous reports of Le Crueset replacing these under the lifetime warranty, so I was hopeful this would be the case for me. I have been emailing the Customer Service team since September, no response. I phoned my local shop who asked me to send photos- no response. I went into the store today and was told that the lifetime guarantee only came in in 2014 (not true) and that wear and tear is not covered, and that because there are a few scratch marks (it’s 20 years old, I use a wooden spoon to cook but sometimes a metal one to serve) it would not be covered. Also told me it was probably safe to keep using. Really, really disappointed and I will probably buy another brand after this experience.
